Sorry, but I find that creepy as well. My first thought is always "I hope recruits don't actually read these threads", as I fear they would also get creeped out.

He's a tough guy, he'll suck it up, but won't swallow. And to think, one trip to Arby's a looooong time ago is all it took to turn him into a cheese hater.

It made him ill to a degree that I believe called for hospitalization. Might be wrong on the hospitalization part. But as a kid, that kind of trauma can really affect a person for life.
I had a bad experience like that, just short of hospitalization, with bourbon. Can't even smell it now without gagging. So I get it, even though cheese is just so yummy.
That's me and gin. Can't abide the smell, much less the taste. Horrible night back in '69 and it took a handful of rats to get me in my rack and set up with a trash can just in case. Sometimes, being a rat daddy came in handy, especially with what they could have done.
My FIL swears he hates scotch.
When he was at Tech in the 60s, he walked to Cburg for booze before a game, bought the cheapest thing in the store (bottom shelf scotch) drank the whole thing before getting to the stadium, and puking by half-time.
Swears that scotch is the worst.
THAT Scotch. MAY HAVE been the worst...when its on the shelf next to Mad Dog and Absinthe...you should avoid it. There is a reason it was cheap enough for college budget
Eh. Reminds me of the great Smirnoff debacle of 2001 in Cancun. I literally don't remember 2 days of that trip.
I always thought scotch tasted like paint thinner and avoided it at all costs. Then I had my first taste of a top shelf scotch and definitely changed my mind about it. Can't afford to drink the good stuff, and just better off with beer, but I'll sip it if it's there.

I find most scotch to taste like ink. But on my trip to Scotland last year I did discover that I appreciate Scotch from the Islay region. Probably because the smoky flavor is very reminiscent of bourbon haha
The lowland stuff tastes like shoe leather to me. The highland stuff is a bit better, but overall, Scotch is low on my list of liquor preferences.
I'm usually an Irish fan myself, but I found myself with an opportunity to attend a scotch tasting with an honest to goodness hobbit in a few weeks and jumped on it.
Me and Mrs MattBoard are joining Mr Peregrine Took himself, Billy Boyd, for a scotch tasting on Comicon the Cruise. Should be interesting.
I'm not a fan either.
I did it to myself nearly a decade ago now, when I was already pretty far into a night of professional grade drinking and then one of my friends had the bright idea to rummage through the liquor cabinet. This led to her opening a bottle of Haig & Haig that her dad had bought duty free probably 40 or 50 years ago at that point. I, being two and a half sheets to the wind with the third sheet dead ahead, said WOO YEAH let's drink some scotch.
I don't remember much of what happened after that but I do remember the Haig & Haig tasted like partially fermented tomatoes, and the smell of shoe polish. (Yes, you read that right. It tasted like the smell of shoe polish.) Truly one of the most foul things to ever encounter my taste buds.
Not surprisingly, I didn't keep anything down until about 24 hours later.
I just had a nice simple Gentlemen Jack and Coke.

With Grunk, this guy can flourish. Grunk's quick release can get the ball in his hands on the outside with time to make a move. With sime outside blocking, explosive play potential is high.
Franklin's acquisition of talent via the portal does seem really methodical and purposeful. CJMFF is not just getting the best talent on the board, but building out a roster complementary of each other.
