Went over to the sabre softball board to glimpse their typical meltdown. Priceless. All are convinced VPI didn't win fairly, either game, due to terrible refs. I love that they think calling us VPI is some sort of put down. They also seem to want to get rid of Mox. I truly enjoyed the slice of bitching I could stand to read.

I can't say that I didn't do the same thing. I think every fanbase bitches about the refs.

Constantly, every sport. I also have not quit bitching myself, but it's a rare game that I honestly think the refs actually cause a win or loss all by themselves. Not saying it doesn't happen, and I'd say they might have a gripe about Wenzel's last second foul shots, but given that she got 20 foul shots in the first game, they shouldn't have been surprised.

Yeah, but without that foul call the ball went in the basket and they would have lost anyway. They actually had a better chance of her missing one and the game ending in a tie by fouling.

I think that basket wasn't going to count anyway, since it seemed that the UVA defense quit as the clock problem was discovered. At least, that's what I remember, only saw it once.

Yeah, Mrs. Egbert was watching the game, the expletives were flying.
Watched early in the game where one of ours on D set her feet and kept hands at waist and got bowled over. Call was on her for def charging. BS.
