OT: Hokies are everywhere!

Hey I just wanted to create the opportunity for everyone here to show just how many Hokies there are across the country and around the globe. I love the fact that we have such a strong camaraderie amongst the fan base. Please leave pics of where you've been spreading that Hokie Spirit to as well.

I've got this flag hanging up in the helicopter hangar on the ship now, among about 15 others.

Many thanks to TKP and all the amazing contributors for allowing me to keep up with last season!! Wish I could've watched the decade of dominance come to fruition but i'll just have to catch the highlights via VTPhreak after i get home. We're on our way home now thank goodness, it's been a long 9 months. Go Hokies!

Was in Vernazza in the Cinque Terre region in Italy last October on my Honeymoon walking past some outdoor seating around lunch when I got a "Go Hokies". Struck up a convo with an older couple who used to teach at Tech and were doing a long awaited anniversary trip.

They were sitting under the red umbrella towards the middle of the picture.

For the record, I also got 'Go Hokies' in Rome, Florence, and Venice as well... but by far, this was the most remote destination of them all.

We truly are everywhere.

Beautiful!! The water reminds me of the Galapagos islands.

@AMB4VT

Cinque Terre was by far my favorite place in Italy. My wife and I were over there a few years back for an anniversary and we stayed in Riomaggiore for a few nights. I wish we had planned to stay there longer. We visited Venice, Rome, Siena, Florence, and even Positano (Amalfi Coast). Cinque Terre was my favorite of them all. It should be on anyone's list when visiting Italy, but it rarely is. That picture is impossible to mistake for anything else. Cool place.

Awesome pic!! thanks for your service sir!

@AMB4VT

1) Thank you for your service!
2) That's awesome pic
3) I thought your name was "Hello_Hokie" at first, and reading the title "Hokies are everywhere!" went well with Hello_Hokie in my head. But seeing that picture "Helo_Hokie" makes far more sense.

There's always a lighthouse. There's always a man. There's always a city.

Haha, yeah i can totally see how that reads weird. Thanks!

There is just something completely awesome about seeing a VT logo right next to a helicopter packed with firepower. Thank you for your service sir!

Ut Prosim! Thank you for your service, and the embodiment of Hokie Spirit.

May your return to the US of A be hasty, and your time at home be long.

The Corps Review does a great job of showing the "Hokie Heros" and other pictures. There is a picture on Page 49 of the Spring 2014 that I thought TKP would enjoy as just over LT3's shoulder is none other than Sam Rogers cheesin hard.

Was in Peru 3 weeks ago and got a 'Go Hokies' at Machu Picchu. Pretty awesome!

Thanks guys! Love hearing about the "Go Hokies" from completely random places, so awesome.

Enjoying the nice weather in Pensacola!

Thanks for mentioning VTPhreak. He's made it possible to have game day in the Middle Kingdom of China.

You in China? Where at? I'm in Shanghai

My first week after moving to Beirut a VT delegation showed up at the Embassy.

Thank you for your service, and I'm jealous that you get to fly a sweet bird like that.
