This weekend is huge for both ACC and NCAA seeding as they go on the road against the Wahoos (31-6). UVA is hurting a bit after Duke swept them this weekend so the Hokies need to be prepared.

Weird news from softball. I guess the NCAA denied Bre Warren from playing this season but odd timing to file this so late in the season. She is suing to play this year.

Now, to tackle the 'hoos. I look forward to the series, but I do worry a bit about how good the lol's actually are. It'll take some damn fine pitching to keep our bats quiet, but we've seen it can be done. I know you'll start a thread later, but I'm fired up already and a couple of beers in. Waaaaay before the game starts.
Early on in the season I thought UVA was going to be a pitching issue but the last couple weeks other teams have scored on UVA consistently. None of those teams have our level of offense when we are hitting.
Also one of their best hitters is out for the rest of the season

5-0 on Yaeger bases loaded ground ball. Wahoos make a couple great defensive plays to prevent it getting blown open.
Wahoos fan seating is really odd. They basically have no seating behind either dugout all the way to the concourse. Forces alot of spectators down the line but still pretty far up from field.
Yeah for as new as their stadium is its weird how its all standing room on the concourse above the dugouts with their really only being established seats behind home plate. Real bizarre layout

No idea how this stadium is supposed to host the ACC Championship this year. There is no where near enough seating.
So many seats open behind home plate for a major UVA VT game. Homie fans really took a huge chunk of seats down first base side too.
Yeah definitely was a heavy VT contingent around the entire field. Just dont see how that place will work for ACCs. Didn't even look like they were letting people sit on the grass hillside along each baseline. Ton of people on the grass in the outfield. Just really weird look with zero seats above either dugout. I am sure they claim it is for athlete safety from fans but having a buffer zone is one thing, completely wiping out those entire areas is something else.
