Good get at most likely a good deal for a player with a lot of upside.
Has anybody been keeping up with the dumpster fire that is Lady Vols basketball? They had an abysmal year led by a coach who passive aggressively called out the team for quitting at the end of games. The coach also does full line changes like in hockey. So each line gets about 90 seconds on the floor at a time, which causes them to take as many shots as they can before they get pulled off the court. It's a real WTF situation.
That is the same style she used successfully at two other stops. This year though they had an assistant coach, now fired, that was telling the players they didnt need to listen to Caldwell behind her back. Its a shitty situation and may be worse than this year next season because the fan base seems to have attributed it all to the head coach so if she doesnt win with a 100% new team they will be all over her.

Yeah, her teams at Marshall were fun to watch. Can't say that I went back and watched any of the Glenville St tape, but didn't she win a D3 championship or something there?

A storied power conference team that is in close geographic proximity to us is gonna run off a good head coach because their fan base is too dense to understand that it was the assistant coach's causing problems?
It sucks for that coach, have <0 sympathy for the fanbase.
I don't know that it is all the assistant coach's fault. The head coach was at press conferences saying the girls quit because that's what they do.
We offered in high school. She was also Tennessee volleyball player of the year two years running.
She didnt get much PT at Tennessee but hopefully VT can be a much better spot for her.
