My bedtime will be in shambles Friday nightðŸ˜
Whipped the poop out of JMU last night. 14-1. Always a good thing.
Mercy-rule wins are the best
Is there even a mercy rule in baseball?
For OOC games the coaches have to agree and inform Umpires before game starts. Normally ten runs for baseball.
Rollcall for the Cal game!!!
Baseball America has the hokies in the latest Bracketology. Has them going to College Station as the 3 seed in the regional. With TA&M and Cincinnati and Army
Lead 3-0 in 3rd. Not sure I can finish this one. Been a long day.
Still 3-0 in top of 7th. Hokies with 2 on and 1 out.
Make that 4-0 as I type. Still 2 on and 1 out.
Hokies won 9-1
Methinks perhaps I may have judged them too harshly at this point?
The bullpen has definitely been deserving of harsh judgements!
No doubt. but I feel better about them right now, after several wins. And if they have good ball in 'em, it's a good time to show it. I also just need something to be positive about right now, and the softball is going well, but I want more to tide me over to the big show coming this fall. Positive, right?
Hokies up 4-0 in the fourth after a pair of homers.
But what in the hell is this retro ass score bug
Hokies win 6-2. And have won three straight acc series
I'll have the broom out tomorrow, hopefully for double duty.
Half your work is done!
Our attempt at a sweep needs to sweep a lot harder.
Down 7-2 in the top of the 5th
Solo shot makes it 7-3, going into B5
Down 7-2 in the 4th. Given up two homers early. Stieg just not having a good day. Two runs by way of walks to get on.
Grube with 2 run homer as Hokies only offense
Cooke 💥
7-3
My connection from Coors field is trash otherwise I wouldn't be posting duplicative updates
Side note: we apparently aren't the only ACC team that struggles with getting a centerfield camera
Hokies trail 9-3. Umpires tossed someone from Hokies dugout as Hokies have hounded the home plate umpire about his strike zone all day. Guys calls have been really inconsistent.
I don't recall who but the broadcast duo said it was one of our pitchers who was not in the game.
It was Peyton Smith according to Dylan Tefft on Twitter. Apparently he wasnt the guy heckling at the time. Hokies were arguing ump threw out wrong player along with his calls.
Hokies lose 9-4
