We need good DBs
Genuinely, I'm looking at the Franklin hire about being good or not via how many 4* recruits we get, because recruiting is where we've typically struggled and his ability to recruit, especially this region, is a big part of that reason why.
So far, the returns have been excellent.
I mean, we've also invested $50 million into athletics. No chance Franklin could do this if the boosters didn't do that. But also, Franklin doesn't take this job if the boaters don't invest.
Didn't realize we had so much money in watercraft for a school in the mountains π
Shhhhhh
Don't give away the Claytor Lake and Smith Mountain Lake secrets.
Yes, average public person, that was just a typo. He clearly meant boosters.
National caliber bass fishermen don't come cheap, you know. They deserve the finest of craft and we should all be proud to provide it!
Exactly, winners get budget.
Boats don't boat the same!?!
WE BIG DOGGIN' NOW!
They need four four stars so we can call them the Four Horsemen
Well alright if you insist, I guess I can handle more 4-stars /s
With all due respect, by those standards I'd rather have the Twenty-Four Horsemen
Probably going to be 8-10 Four stars. Maybe more
Yes please

out of high school? or portal too? Just in the secondary or in this class?
I think this Franklin guy might be a good recruiter.
Big, if true.
B1G? Not anymore
Just a SEC, while I ACC with the PAC,
So, I was able to take a few minutes and watch a little film...
Most of his film is of him playing offense (RB & WR). There were a few isolated clips of him playing defense... He's a really good athlete who has incredible control over his body. He seems to be as quick as he is fast without a lot of wasted movement (very good for a DB). It is hard to get a read on any sort of technique as it relates to how quickly he will be ready to play on the defensive side, but this is one of those old school Beamer recruits that seems like can be a "plug and play" kind of kid in the secondary. Great pickup!
