the penalty for the losing team was that it would have to carry the winning team's players on its backs in a pair of 50-yard sprints across the field, which doesn't sound pleasant.
Man, I wish you got to see this for us Andy. I can't help but attribute this new found competition at a lot of positions to the new coaches (can I still call them new?). I am all for this!

Also, I can tell you've quickly improved with the camera. There was one shot with good use of aperture and depth of field. But this was by far my favorite. The contrast is beautiful!
