Tobi Lawal is currently projected 54th in second round to Golden State by ESPN.
What else caught peoples attention from first round?
I was happy the Wizards chose to stay at #1 and take Dybantsa. Less happy they plan to give Trae Young $212M for 4 years.

Former Hokie Tyler Nickel is one spot ahead of Tobi on the ESPN Best Available right now. 15 more picks to go and both in top 10 on Best Available
Nickel goes to the Suns with 17th pick in 2nd
Lawal right after him goes to Dallas with 18th pick in 2nd
After watching Tyler Nickel, I am surprised he got drafted. I would take Lawal over Nickel without hesitation.
Nickel had two strong seasons at Vanderbilt. His scoring jumped 5 ppg from year at Tech to last season. Shot 40% from 3 on 7.6 attempts per game and 58% inside.
Both are G League guys right now. Lawal has higher ceiling but Nickel is more pro ready now if needed for 10 day contracts.
Yeah Lawal has the athletic gifts, but Nickel is a big shooter and they will always be popular in today's league. If Lawal can develop a solid offensive game though, watch out.
Still in disbelief the Wiz payed Trae that much, but I guess you gotta use your cap space on somebody. They could be a fun team next season.
Yes, a starting lineup of PG Trae Young (6'2"), SG Bilal Coulibady (6'7"), SF AJ Dybansta (6'9"), PF Anthony Davis (6'10"), C Alex Sarr (7'0") could be fun. They have the height at all the other positions to makeup for playing a small guard in Trae Young.
As a person that occasionally roots for the Hawks, BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!
Yeah Young is hard to trust
