Franklin says we can go three deep at every position but there's no "erasers" on the team yet. He says he can't be sure how we will play until he sees these guys in real action.
The highlight is Urban Meyer bitching about losing to Bud Foster

I like the term, "erasers". I hope by game 3, we see empirical evidence of a handful of erasers or erasers in the making.
Also love his confidence in our depth. What a treat that will be down the stretch of any season.
I also believe the most important intangible in competitive sports is a coach's ability to tap into the players' "inner warrior". I have experienced this first hand as a coach at the HS level. It is an absolute game changer.
This right here will be the difference between us either going 0-3 or 2-1 in that 3 game on the road stretch, as well as, our final record of his first season.
IMO, JMMF is the coach who is already tapping into that now and will show this coming season.
I did chuckle when urban recognized Bud and the coaching he did. Obviously I am biased, but that defensive performance is one of the best "you got out coached" that the Hokies have had in their favor.
Which we then had to the other way when Lincoln Riley took us for a loop at ECU.
Was that the same ECU team (quoting another TKP'er that I'll never remember) that had two guys named Terry Williams?
Just went back and watched the condensed 2014 OSU game on youtube. Man, I forgot how fun that game was. That team had so much potential.
that team was so young too. we had ford, phillips, shai mckenzie and marshawn williams all playing meaningful roles as true freshman
Don't forget we had God's Gift on that team too!
True he was also a RS Freshman and played a lot that season. Just off the top of my head some other underclassmen contributors that year were Kendall Fuller, Greg stroman, sam rogers.
That team was loaded with young talent, just couldn't put it together well enough
I hope the next time Urban sat down in front of a TV after this interview, the first thing he saw was an ad for Papa John's
