As someone who grew up a huge Mets fan, I'm glad that I've lost almost all interest in sports. I spoke to God a while ago and he told me, 'Chris, I will never allow your teams to win again*. Why do you keep watching?' So, I eventually listened to God and gave up and stopped trying to follow them.
* Vikings, Mets, Rangers, Hokies. Sorry folks, it's my fault VT never wins.

I always knew he got paid by the Mets. Today I found out he also get's $500,000 from the Orioles. This payment concludes in 2029.
The $1.19 million he gets from the Mets concludes in 2035 (from a contract that was deferred in 1999).

It's not just you. VT and O's are the teams I try to follow but there has been little success from either in my lifetime.
