Sadly HokieTopher has Passed Away

Received news this morning that our own HokieTopher has passed away. He's been battling some health issues for some time, but this was a sudden surprise. He and his wife have been spending a week at the Delaware seashore for some time and recently Mas Scott, HokieTopher and myself would get together for a round of golf and cold beers afterwards. Good Hokie times, stories, and drinks. Just reached out to him 2 days ago about them being down this weekend and next week.
'll have to pour some out for or fellow Hokie, TKP contributor, travel guru, and originator of the AMA's to pass the off-season and keep us all engaged. He was a steady voice, giving guidance and bringing calm to the site. Cheers Brother. Rest in Peace!

Terribly sorry to hear of this. What a loss. Hoping his family and friends can find warmth and comfort in the coming days, weeks, months.

Cheers HokieTopher. One of the greats.

Onward and upward

Condolences to him and his family. A great TKPer who will be sorely missed around here.

"Exit light..."

You won't find another Hokie like him. Rest easy Chris

This is so sad. Though I couldn't pick any of you out of a line up, I do have a "personal" feel, care, concern, and connection with TKP Community, especially with such an active and quality contributor like HokieTopher.

This news hits hard.

Here's to HokieTopher. He made all of our lives better who enjoy this site and community on a daily basis.

May his family embrace each other, their Faith, and Friends to help get through this very tough time.

Condolences to the friends and family. A loss for many. Rest in peace.

Condolences for his family. I always appreciated reading his takes on issues.

Huge loss to this community. Rest easy, Hokie friend. I can only hope that he is reunited with his late son, somewhere.

Peace and condolences to his family. Thank you for sharing the sad news with the community. 🙏🏼

Sorry to hear that.
