So, what Loeffler is saying is the offense took more steps backwards than UVA has outright ACC football championships?

This is actually a very nice little bright spot. As poorly as the QBs may have played, Motley and Ford at least never threw anything close to an INT. Leal had one that Dinardo got his hands on at the line of scrimmage, but for hte most part the QBs looked pretty intent on keeping control of the ball.

None that I could see. Anything that hit a receiver's hands and didn't stick (happened a couple times) seemed to just drop straight down. Motley especially always seems to err on the side of "if my guy ain't gettin' it, no one's gettin' it."

Hansen got a blocked FG attempt. Nice but tough on the kicker. Hope it doesn't hurt his confidence, that 52 yd FG is really impressive in a live game.

This is going to be great for the ACC.
