I think Tyrod wants to get his shot at being a starting quarterback finally. He knows that's not likely in Baltimore unless a career ending injury happens to Flacco.

and even then they would send flacco out in bubble wrap due to that massive contract he got throwing up lame balls like fratstar manziel did at A&M. Granted manziel is 1000 times the athlete flacco will ever be he had a huge wr in mike adams to make those catches. Flacco had boldin, and then traded him, now its really starting to show maybe that wasn't a smart idea

I think Flacco got that contract because of having more wins in the first five years of his career than any QB ever to play in the NFL, and then throwing 11 touchdowns and no interceptions during the playoffs on the way to winning the Superbowl and the Superbowl MVP.
Also, how exactly did Joe Flacco, the QB, trade a player? Ozzie Newsome is the GM of the Baltimore Ravens, he's the man with the personnel controls. And I'm pretty sure there's about 25+ owners in the NFL who would love to employ him.

Sorry, bro.
You don't have 5 consistently outstanding seasons as a QB because of 1 WR.
Not having any targets, like last year, and a porous OL will certainly hurt a QB ( and RB too, They couldn't get arun game together either).
He only had 1 target last year, his TE was even out all season. True Bolden was gone but it wouldn't have hurt so much except the Ravens got hit hard preseason with the injury bug and nobody really developed.
I almost understand your hate but gotta acknowledge Flacco's first 5 seasons were better than anyone was able to put together, ever. There were a lot of good players there but, you don't go an entire post-season to win the SB with no INT by tossing up lame passes.

It's over 2 weeks away, this thread might break with speculation by then.

Mocking the Draft is the SB Nation draft blog, they run a great podcast. Those guys are very high on VT DBs and have Exum consistently in the mid-second. I think that's a little high with his injury, but he does have a ton of developmental upside at corner.

Exum also has the size that teams will be looking for as they try to copy Seattle. I think Fuller is the obvious first Hokie off the board and then it's a battle between LT3 and Tone. I personally think a team is going to reach for LT3 and he will be the second one off the board.

As cool as it would be to have Logan and Vick on the same team, I really do not want this to happen.
Logan also met with the Ravens. Would be interesting to see him replace Tyrod in Baltimore.
EDIT: Didn't read the whole thread before posting.
19 out of 32 teams bringing you in for a workout indicates great things.
Anyone I'm missing from this list?

Logan Thomas - QB

Antone Exum - CB

potential UFA:

edit: wrong Hopkins
Derrick Hopkins, not Antoine. Hop already runs a computer repair business now.
Thanks, fixed

It's interesting that LT3 has gotten so much interest from the Ravens...what's up with that?
isn't Tyrod's contract up next year? maybe they are thinking about letting him go by replacing him with a new Hokie QB

You can't get away with just tossing up lame passes at the NFL level like you can against SEC defenses.
Being a career back up in the NFL, making a lot of money, and not getting hurt isn't a bad career to have.
Not to say anything against the goal of being a starter, of course.
He might be a good fit in Philly.
They need a TE...
Logan met with the JETS!

There is no doubt that Kyle Fuller has first round talent.
Anybody know why the draft is so late this year? It's pretty annoying if you ask me.
There is another sporting event going on in April so they moved the draft back to May .
They CLAIM it's because Radio City Music Hall was booked. Not sure if I buy that...
The NFL wanted to have a major event in every month of the schedule. To do that the draft needed to be delayed.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
And I feel like if I remember right they plan on having it on May from here on out (well, until they change their minds again)
That's correct.
Saw where the schedule is being released today, it makes sense now.
Kyle Fuller on his way to the draft...
On ESPN NFL Live today... I found out that Logan Thomas was 2nd team all-SEC in 2011. I wonder what team he played for.
Hopefully a screen grab of it will show up at some point, but for now you'll just have to take my word for it.
Are we doing TKP draft party this year?
"With the first overall pick, the Houston Texans select...Sam Rogers, Supreme Deity (also plays fullback), Virginia Tech"
Mike Maycock has Kyle Fuller as the No. 1 overall CB.

Only 30 more years until the draft.
