Let the complaining about a noon kickoff against ECU commence...

Yeah. This is all Weaver's fault. He's the one that scheduled us to play ECU for the next 50 years. Wanted to rub salt in the wound by playing them at noon*

*sarcasm

I understand the reason for the noon kickoff from a broadcast perspective...it sucks but I get it.

I think the important thing to note is that it's not a regionally televised game on Raycom or something. It's on an ESPN network which is the best you can have if you have a noon kickoff. Better than only being on ESPN3 at noon.

Agreed. I wonder why they'd pick that one for national televised?

Happy with the W&M game at 3:30 though.
I'll tailgate at home with the Ohio State Game at 8PM.
So at least we get 2 later games to start off with.
With 1 at 3:30 and a thursday night game we're ahead of the game from last year.

I'll give it a thumbs up so far.

This is going to be great for the ACC.

I'd say the fact that W&M and ECU aren't both noon games is a small scheduling victory. And we're guaranteed at least three night games, so that's already an improvement over last year. They can't all be prime time.

Not the bagman VT deserves, but the bagman VT needs right now.

Whats striking to me is that W&M is a 3:30 kickoff. That shows Whit is getting it. In the past, that game had nooner written all over it, but now we're putting it at what many consider the perfect spot. If you can't get me a 7pm kickoff, which W&M would never warrant, 3:30 is just fine. An extra 3 and a half hours to tailgate for the opener? Thank you very much!

ECU is at noon, but considering ESPN/ABC picked up the option for it, not much we can do, nor was there much we could control.

3:30 is better, but it could have been 7:00. Considering the August heat, there was justification to schedule it as a night game. He could have also just said that all game times not dictated by television will be held at night because Lane Stadium is awesome at night. Then it's predictable.

With the SEC Network in play this year (thus, some ESPN/U/2 windows opened up) we may actually get one or 2 prime time Saturday kickoffs.

i cant wait to not watch the sec network
