My full ballot is after the jump. Here's a quick justification of the movers, shakers and frozen.
- Alabama is clearly the best team in the country, second best is likely going to change from week to week as of right now: Oregon, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Boise State and TCU are neck and neck and all can make a claim to be bridesmaid. The Ducks get the nod for now after their impressive comeback over Stanford.
- Boise State's WAC blowouts don't impress me in the least.
- It's hard to justify dropping LSU after their 5-0 start and win over Tennessee. But I did so anyways. They notched a sloppy victory against a bad Vols team, turning the ball over 4 times and are still undecided at quarterback.
- Michigan - Denard for Heisman, that defense for the dumpster.
I need more help with this week's ballot than you're probably willing to give me. Are Boise State, Auburn, and Wisconsin too low? Are Michigan State and Arizona too high?

Boise State probably didn't deserve to get jumped by Oklahoma -- beating Texas isn't as impressive this year as usual. Not sure about whether OU should go above or below TCU.
LSU most certainly did earn their dive.
I may have been reaching a bit with Oklahoma.
I'll bump then down behind Boise in my final ballot. The more they win, and for that matter, the more Texas, Air Force and Florida State win the harder it will be for me to keep them down. If they do their part, their strength of schedule is going to be huge.
my top ten
1) alabama
2) oregon
3) ohio state
4) tcu
5) boise state
6) auburn
7) nebraska
8) arizona
9) utah
10) oklahoma
alabama is above and beyond the best team. after ohio state struggled and the ducks demolished stanford, oregon moves into the #2 spot. i have felt ohio state has been overrated the entire year, but there is no one else behind them who has a legit reason to be #3. oklahoma doesn't deserve the hype they get. sure they beat florida state by 30 (only reason they crack my top 10), but i would venture to say that texas doesn't count as a quality win and then lets look at the rest: utah state by 7, air force (EXTREMELY OVERRATED) by 3, and an absolutely abysmal cincy team by only 2. chances are they will roll into the big 12 championship and get absolutely stomped by nebraska.
team you shouldn't count out: iowa (get both michigan state and ohio state at home)
team that you should count out: arizona (how about this run of games: washington, @ucla, @stanford, usc, and @oregon. if they manage to not lose 3 of the 5 it should be considered a success).
oh, and i am gonna say it: boise state loses to nevada.
In a direct contract to their name...
Air Force is leading the nation in rushing yards. Also the service academies have earned the fair stereotype of playing tough, fundamental football. I think it's a good win.
eh.
okay, i concede that they are not EXTREMELY OVERRATED, and reduce that to just overrated.
if you want my opinion, go with the 5-0 northwestern wildcats.
I swapped Air Force for Northwestern.
I compared the victories and they've both beaten awful teams. Northwestern hasn't lost a game and I'm giving Air Force too much credit for a close loss to Oklahoma.
Gators
I know they've only lost one game, but they don't deserve to be ranked. They are terrible, and if it wasn't for the novelty of Burton's 5 carries, 5 touchdowns against Kentucky, they might have 2 losses. Their D is stupid good, but if you can't find the QB with the ball, you're done.
I predicted Oklahoma for NC at the beginning of the year, so #3 is about right. Unfortunately Tejas didn't do them any favors by losing to the baby blues the previous week. We'll see how stout they really are in the weeks to come.
Meeshigan and Sparty will dual to the death this weekend too. Is it just me or does shoelace remind anyone of a stronger bigger Tyrod a few years ago. Stupid good, elusive, cannon, but can get chipped and dinged a little easier than the fans would like to see. Not sure he can make it through a whole Big 10* season; we'll see. He is absolutely amazing though, despite the porous defense. I think you have Sparty a little high at 10, and that might be Meeshigan's or Iowa's spot shortly.
And you are just for dropping LSU. They would get stomped by Boise or TCU right now.
I like Nevada creeping up the board...they might even be able to beat LSU right now. (How bad is WVU then???)
The Shoelace
Athletically he reminds me of Vick, I think he's more explosive and quicker than Tyrod, but we'll see how he develops as a passer.
And you're right, after this week we'll have a very good idea of what to make of Michigan and Sparty.
Oklahoma too high
Saw you intend to drop Oklahoma below Boise, but I'd also drop them below TCU, Auburn, and probably Nebraska. Really not sold on them yet.
I'd also drop Utah way down (probably after Iowa) and slide Miami up (at least ahead of Florida).
I already submitted my ballot.
If everything goes as it should this weekend, meaning favorites win, which it won't it mind you, it does make sense to drop Utah down a bunch of spots next week. Their strength of schedule is weak and their "marquee" win was in overtime against 2-2 Pitt.
Welcome Sir.
