I just found out that Bruce Smith's nickname while at Virginia Tech was "The Sack Man"
Although it lacks a little creativity, it definitely paints the picture.
Please share your favorite nickname of any HOKIE player (past, present, or even future)
Non-football sports are welcome.
I'm sure there's a few on the current roster, but the only one that comes to mind is Willie Byrn ("The Paperboy") which he has had long enough that "PaperMan" should be considered.... well, at least "Paper-Young Adult"
GO HOKIES!

Who else other than the QB that took us all the way(since technically halFaSsU did recruiting violations that season)...MV7: the TRUE SUPERMAN!
SI dubbed MV7 "Mr. Electric"
This is also true.
Two framed SI covers in my basement, this one and "They Belong" from 99.
Also LT3 as Optimus Thomas Prime and The Truck.
Why not just OpThomas Prime? I feel like a big opportunity was missed here.
We always called him Logan Thomas the Tank Engine.
I thought that was very fitting too. He is a steam engine in short-midrange yardage situations.
Equals
Spencer Hall of EDSBS dubbed him "The Appalachian Sasquatch"
RMFW.
KJ and Lee Suggs had a duo nickname back in the day...anyone?
I think it was "the untouchables".
Yep, I still have the Untouchables shirt. It has the #7 and #22 jersey's on the front and I always ask people who they are to test their Hokie knowledge. Most people say MV7, not KJ.
I know it was the untouchables
ManBearPig....
Andre Davis - The Blur
Oh that was a great one.
Killa Kam was always one of my favorites
Wang.
Wang Chung
Tonight
Victor "Macho" Harris
Not a player, but I love calling lane 'The Terror Dome'
better call 911. ..

My profile picture approves
Willie Pile Driver & Grimm Reaper
I believe that Cody Grimm was aka "The DeathBacker"
The Gate City Assassin Jake Houseright
Had not heard that one before but I agree.
Jake "Dirty Grove"?

I always called MD7 "Whiff"
My dad called him "The Usher" ...you know cause he was always standing around taking tickets.
I always loved how Danny Coale's name became a synonym for the word "open" during the 2011 season. For example: "Hey would you mind Danny Coale-ing this beer bottle for me?"
And this is one of my favorite pics of all time. I love seeing the hope and utter disbelief in everyone's eyes.
Danny Open Longer Than 7-11 Coale
Danny Ninja Coale
I always called Coale. "Hands".I know Boykin had the legendary mitts, but Coale always caught things that were within the same area code of wherever he was standing.
This might now be my favorite picture. This was definitely my favorite Hokie moment.
There is just so much to enjoy in that photo. Is that Brett Favre's younger, chubbier brother wearing those ridiculously fantastic orange and maroon striped overalls? Also, where might one acquire said overalls? I'm asking for a friend.
Game Bibs (Adult): Maroon and Orange
$49.95
Hahahaha. Thanks. Your response was fast, almost too fast. Is that you in the picture?
Its crazy to me that LT was at that game. I had no idea who the guy was back then
Fantastic photo!!! I am super jealous of anyone that has seats that close to
the field. Love everyone's reactions.
Now I've confused myself, which game is this?
Thank you, I had the time of day mixed up, apparently.
Real sad that D. R. hit the injury bug after that season, he really seemed to be a huge playmaker
