He must be as excited as the other receivers to have a new QB on campus who can spread the ball.

The thing I don't understand about this situation and many others is the roll marijuana plays. The player admits he went to a house to buy weed and there is no discussion about that.

I realize I am an old man(class of '69); but aren't there rules against marijuana use? Or does everyone use it now and it's no big deal unless you fail a drug test?

Doesn't matter if it's cake or pie as long as it's chocolate.

What can the school do.. nothing really he went there to buy it but obviously didn't/we have no idea. I'm sure beamer told him take a 1 year leave of absence and then we will re-hash things after the court stuff comes back. We won't know the details to why he left but its a good sign he was able to regain his spot on the team.

Lets just hope this isn't the next journell.

At least, if he does turn out to be another Journell, we have back ups at his position.

That's funny, I have always heard that everyone used it in the 60's!!

No, that's the 70's. In the 60's, it was acid, man. Love that Hippie wagon gif.

"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. " Rocky B.

What I am confused about is if he was there. If he was with Holmes, then he committed perjury because he said he was working at Taco Bell in his testimony. If he was at Taco Bell working, then he wasn't with Holmes and shouldn't have testified.

Incongruity alert!

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

he was at the house earlier to buy pie.. then when he was at taco bell working holmes went back and broke in or something like that..

Its legal here in Colorado!

I feel like the rest of the country is starting to head that way too.....

I really think if they can invent a breathalyzer for it, it will be legal everywhere.

I hope so. Alcohol is much more dangerous. I don't understand how people don't
realize that.

@AMB4VT

Because its Merica.. I lived in belgium for 3 months and was surprised by the differences of "teens" drinking. In Merica it is lets get the hardest most alcohol content drink and be wasted in 1 hour. Over the seas its lets have 1 or 2 Duvels or Stella then we will sip on whiskey or scotch and have some laughs.

I'm not saying they don't have absolute crazy parties in europe but it seems like its more relaxed and not such a big thing, the kids are brought up with it as they grow up. Unlike in Merica where it is put in a big cabinet with sharpee lines on the bottle to make sure we don't drink it.

ps- the 1.75L vodka bottle in the cabinet mom is water ;) and has been for 6 years. Every time my wife and I go over I open it and smell it just to get a laugh.

Will he even beat out some of the freshmen for PT? I like the guy but I'm just not sure he'll earn a spot in the top 5 WRs

Before everything went down with Kevin, he showed some promise. In the open scrimmages two years ago, he consistently got open on crossing routes and underneath stuff. The concern was that every catch was an adventure; he did a nice job of using his hands to catch the ball, but the ball never seemed secure as he brought it in.

He was a little wirey before he left the team, and from what I've heard he has put in some time in the weight room since. From everything I've been told, he has been working hard to get back. Let's hope it pays off for him.

I have a very distinct memory from one of the 2012 summer scrimmages of Kevin catching a pass on a crossing route, getting absolutely leveled by a linebacker, and hanging on to the ball. I thought he was the most impressive WR playing with the 2nd string that day.

Not the bagman VT deserves, but the bagman VT needs right now.

I wholeheartedly agree. I remember his performance most from that particular scrimmage. He was so active throughout the day that he almost felt featured in the offense. While he caught most (if not all) the passes that came his way, it was the bobbling or lack of sureness that I remember most. It reminded me of Mario Manningham, and how he would sort of bobble an inordinate number of catches but ultimately bring them in.

Kevin resembles the receiver that Moorehead is looking for; tough and not afraid to go get the ball which is why I was surprised when he decided to not play last year but I guess that Amo did talked to him and convinced him to come back.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

On one hand, he's a veteran guy.

On the other hand, since he hasn't had the benefit of Lefty and ChoppinWood coaching him like the other vets, how high on the depth chart can he expect to end up?

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We don't love dem Hoos.

How "high"?

Huh. I'm not one to crank out weed jokes like that, even unintentionally.

my thoughts? who cares? competition is good for everyone.

I don't have to take this abuse from you, I've got hundreds of people dying to abuse me.

Smoke a doob, eat a taco, make stuff up in court, whatever.....just catch the ball and run with it.

Fortune Favors the Bold

NOOOOO! NONO ! Lie in court& you will be running without a ball!
