Kendall checks in at 38 and 4th CB. Thought Maddy, Jarrett, or Facyson could make the list but not surprised they didn't (although they could all be there by the end of the season and more could too.)

Kendall Should have been top 10. IMO.
There is a distinct lack of 8'10 TE's
Element of surprise, my friend. Element of surprise.
A 9' tall TE can be surprising (yes he grew another 2")?
Why is Hargreaves considered such a better corner than Kendell? I realize they are both great, but statistically, Kendell was better.
I don't think Hargreaves is better honestly. He gets more hype because he plays in the SEC but Kendall was more impressive IMO.
Kendall had the best coverage skills for a freshmen I've ever seen.
I expect he'll be generally considered the best cover corner in the country by the end of the season. Barring injury, I expect he'll be the first overall cornerback taken in whatever draft he chooses to participate in.
The only reason why he is not is the SEC fanbois. If he played for Vany he'd have the vote now but, the pendulum is swinging.
With Clemson doing well and FSU as a beast and with the impending VT serious run for the playoffs, the ACC will again start getting new looks.
I expect those types of failures to recognize serious talent for what it is, to end after this or next season.
Just watching Facsyon (sp?) in the Miami game again today spelled out over look to me.
He plays for florida....
I find the commentary on #1 laughable. Yeah, Winston might improve a bit, but the talent around him won't be nearly as good.
He's gonna miss throwing it up to Kelvin Benjamin.
All part of his master plan... In Soviet FSU, football catch receiver:
Should Winston be catching the crab or throwing it?
I think he should be intercepting it.
QB Sneak, clearly
That's even better. I was going for a stealing/intercepting pun that was pretty terrible.
Winston is one sneaky QB. Maybe the Sneakiest in the NCAA.
Maddy is an overlooked guy in the middle, similar to Hopkins I think. Makes a bigger impact that doesn't show up on the stat sheet, but he'll be commanding double teams plenty this year and still end up with double digit TFL and a few sacks.
Future Thorpe Winner
I started shaking my head once I got to Anthony Harris at 48. This list...
Lead the nation in a stat and you are going to get put on a list like this. But when teams know they can throw all over you...something something blind squirrels and their nuts.
This is an interesting list, especially with Ohio State having two DL in the top 60, yet most observers agree that the DL was the biggest weakness of the Buckeyes last season. Iowa ran all over them for a half.
i watched the clemson/anosu orange bowl and their d seemed fairly soft.
I've heard them get their knickers in a bunch of Joey Bosa several times. It seems to me they're still holding on to their reputation as a good defensive team from a decade ago more than anything.
Wouldn't it be nice to have an offensive player on a list like this again? Some day...
Something 12 feet tall may be Brewing some Juice in Blacksburg....
Did he shrink from the last time I got on this website?
No, we were running out of long rulers and had to start measuring between the eyes.
