Uplifting comeback.. kid is talented and disappointing we did not have him last couple of years. Prototype size and athletic.. would have been a gem on the team

Holy junk. I remember him being thrown off the team. When I read the child abuse story, I bought it without question. Looks like I could have been wrong. I'd like to know the full story, but I'd be content with wishing him well and hoping he finds success.
So how did his daughter get the injury? Any articles on the trial outcome?
EDIT: Just saw at the end that all charges were dropped. Does anyone else feel like VT just ditched him in his time of need? I'm sure there's more to the story, definitely curious to hear.
I kinda feel like we bailed on him. But when you're accused of shaking your child, well...
Tough call for all involved. He looks good and his daughter does too. If you find his highlight reel to the side, Boyce has a pair of hands - in traffic, making adjustments, etc. Makes one wonder how his game could have improved Logan Thomas' in 2012 after 2011 with him.
Wish him the best.
Its sad how false PCS charge derailed a young man football career. Now that hes cleared and has his daughter back, hopefully a team gives Xavier Boyce a chance.
I actually read a recent summary of the case and the judge in the case said that it was either he or his girlfriend which caused the injury to the child, however because they could not determine exactly which one hurt the child the charges were dropped.
I hate it for the kid and wish him the best but vt does not need a player with felony child abuse cases pending near the organization. those are serious charges and I get that the charges were dropped but in the best interest of the school he needed to go. I truly wish him the best but looking at the big picture he had to go.
Boyce is currently charged with DUI in Virginia Beach.
