In the haste of trying to save money and be more productive I canceled my satellite subscription and got roku but now I have no way of watching the World Cup on E$pn3. Any ideas of suggestions?

Bar.
That would be my usual first choice but I believe bringing a 4 month old is shunned around most places.
With that attitude it is
pssh, sharkey's has kid specials. They better be ready for you to bring your kids.
Go to any child friendly restaurant that also has a bar where you can see the TVs from the dining area. If you have a detachable booster/high-chair combo that you can bring with you, all the better. Just bring lots of things to keep your child occupied (toys, books, etc.). Only give your child one toy or book at a time so you have something else for his/her attention once he/she gets tired of the first toy. Be warned however, they will more than likely try to stick you with other people with kids/babies or off in a corner, so if you cannot see the TVs, ask for a better location. They want your business, so they should be accommodating. When the wife and I recently tried our first restaurant with our daughter, about six months old at the time, it worked wonderfully. It might go well, it might be horrible, but at least you tried. The only downside is that you have to actually put on pants and leave the house.
yes pants required and child friendly tend to go hand in hand
It's only shunned after 8 pm when the drunks come out. Just don't go to a rowdy one.
You have a baby in the bar.
Oh, this one's on the tit, so I can take him anywhere.
If I ever need a stream for some sporting event, I always go to the particular game thread on reddit. Someone always posts a HQ stream there. /r/soccer, /r/cfb, /r/nfl, /r/nba, /r/hockey, and /r/collegebasketball. Just go to the comments and ctrl+f "stream".
ask a friend who has cable connection for their account info. And you can just watch it from their account.
I canceled my cable last summer and found liveball.tv. They stream literally every game of every sport imaginable. It looks sketchy when you first use it because there are a lot of ads that pop up, but once you clear those out it's relatively smooth sailing.
Adblock Plus is a necessity.
depending on who your isp is, watch espn

Much like the WatchESPN app, Univision is streaming for free all the games from the first two rounds. You can either download the Univision Deportes app or watch it on the Univision site. Granted it is in Spanish, but better to watch it in Spanish than not at all (I actually prefer Spanish...but I speak it lol).
I dont have a cable account but through my xbox one on the espn app i get to watch all the world cup streams like they would on ESPN just have to scroll through to the ESPN3 section and you should find it.
So what you're saying is it's not actually an ESPN3 issue but rather you don't pay for cable and want to watch the games for free when the ESPN/ABC paid for the rights?
Other users have suggested plenty of ways to watch the games. I despise ESPN's programming and their biased coverage against sports they don't have the rights to air, but I also can't say I really feel like they are doing anything wrong since they paid to be able to show the World Cup games.
I wish they'd understand that you can't play three replays of something because the game is still going on. I can hear the ball being kicked and the fans screaming at something, but I'm sitting here watching replay after replay.
