VT number 10 DBU & RBU. Hokies are a top ten team. Not too bad. We are in the discussion. The rankings are not based on perception.

#Let's Go - Hokies

Wait, I thought Tech was ranked #2 or 3 for DBU (even though we're REALLY #1)...

They went by awards rather than volume or longevity. Hence why Miami from over a decade ago has been on most of these lists.

Hence why the morons that created the list are completely f-k'd in the brain.

An arbitrary point system to decide an arbitrary title. Surprised the point system didn't include mythological creatures. If centaurs were awarded 100 points, VT would've dominated DBU.

We have Fullers, their argument is invalid.

"Exit light..."

Its from ESPN. Their ranking is always doubtful. You should take the ranking with HUGE BUCKET OF SALT.

The way I'd say it to a recruit: "More of their guys win awards, more of ours go to the league. Do you want a trophy or a contract?"

I'm betting if you win a national award for your position then you're liking getting drafted in the first 3 rounds and getting a solid contract.

Is it better to have 2+ guys drafted in the latter half of the draft every year or have a 1 first rounder every 2 years? Considering the publicity and money first rounders get, I think I'd rather have the second.

I was just explaining how I'd message it to recruits. Since we don't have that number of first rounders or national award winners we gotta play the hand we're dealt.
