With Dozier and Hill now on the roster, I think that the Hokies "grocery list" for recruiting looks something like this:
1) Two of the following defensive ends: Josh Sweat, Ricky DeBerry, Darrell Taylor, Marques Ford, Houshain Gaines
2) At least one additional inside linebacker.
3) Two corner/DB prospects. At his NOVA Chalk Talk, Foster discussed how they target corners, and then move guys inside. They want the ability to cover in man and then tackle in space. I think they want one or two more guys to go with Reynolds and Johnson.
4) Offensively, the Hokies still need a true split end at wide receiver. Felton Davis III could be the guy. McCleese is likely a running back commitment, but with seven tailbacks currently on scholarship (not including Jerome Wright) it isn't a huge need position.
5) Again, I can't emphasize how critical it is for Coach Searels to make a splash at the tackle position and get some interior guys who can transition to center. Gallo projects to be a center, and while Mitchell will likely start out wide, I think he could be the Hokies best center since Jake Grove if he moves inside. But, other than Tyrell Smith, tackle depth is a major issue now that Teller has moved inside.
Jalen Dalton for DE too. I still think UNC will be hard to beat, but we're in his top 3 fwiw.

With this new recruiting staff, we're recruiting all the other positions and converting them to tight ends.
Tyrell smith did not qualify along with Xavier Burke so only 3 of the o-line guys are on campus.
I guess those aren't bad qual issue guys. Smith needs at least a year to bulk up and Burke can get more separation from our current TE talent.
