Greetings TKP Friends,
I wanted to start gauging interest in a 2014 TKP Fantasy Football league. Our 2013 season was a lot of fun, mainly because my mediocre team got hot during the playoffs and won me a championship!
As a member of the league, you'll be rewarded with GIF-heavy weekly league recaps written by yours truly (examples: here, here). You'll also be publicly shamed in these weekly posts, but that just comes with the territory.

1) state your preference of ESPN or Yahoo
2) state your preference of PPR or non-PPR
3) note any draft blackout dates you have in mid-to-late August
4) note any other settings you'd like to see/not like to see, etc.
7/25 UPDATE - Invites have gone out to everyone who gave me their email address. If you still want to join, let me know, we still have a few spots!
Currently I have the leagues set up to have 13 week regular seasons, 4 teams making the playoffs (weeks 14 and 15). I figured that we can manually do a championship in week 16 between the 3 league champions (standard scoring). If anyone objects or has better ideas, please speak up!

how many people can you add in a league?? lol. im in.... and see above for preferences.
It gets kinda dicey if you go over 12 in a league, but if we have a lot of interest we can create two (or more) leagues! Have our own little CFB Playoff.

I thought, man, somebody REALLY doesn't want multiple leagues...
I'm so in. ESPN seems to be a better option than yahoo (it just feels better, and the mobile app is pretty great). 1/2 point PPR has worked for my other leagues pretty well, though I'd rather have no PPR than full point per reception. Any draft dates work. Hell, if anyone else is in Blacksburg, we could have a draft party.

Seems like there's a lot of interest, would doing a pick 'em league be a good idea to go along with it? I know Beer Controlled does a great job with the pick six here, but we could do a larger NFL one on ESPN to go along with a fantasy league.
I think a pick 'em is a good idea too! Once I get the leagues sorted out I can start one up.
First round of invites will probably go out on Wednesday. Looks like we could have enough for three 10 team leagues.
I'll do my best to split everyone up based on their preferences. We'll probably have:
-one 0.5 PPR league and 2 non-PPR leagues
-all ESPN leagues (if the people with Yahoo preferences absolutely must play Yahoo, we can do 1 there, but there were only a handful and I'd prefer not to have to bounce back and forth between 2 sites)
-One regular draft sometime in the week of August 18-24, one regular draft and the 0.5 PPR draft sometime in the week of August 25-31

I'm all in on TKP, and I'm ready to be humiliated in a TKP fantasy football league. Maybe you could set something up like golf tournaments where you put the professional, scratch golfer guys in one bunch, the decent guys that kinda play a bit in another bunch, and then generously set something up for the guys that show up to the tourney that have never broken 100, and usually are barred from actually entering the clubhouse.

Hey everyone,
This is the link for my list of the leagues I plan to set up with draft times, settings (standard or 0.5 PPR). Please take a look at your set-up and let me know if you need something changed. I just randomly selected draft times on Sunday evenings because I figured they would be the time where most people would be free, but it's subject to popular vote.

All leagues will be ESPN, so I'm sorry to the few of you who requested Yahoo, but it's a lot easier to organize if they're all through the same site.
I do have a strange request - I need someone to be a co-owner with me in leagues 2 and 3. I won't make any changes to your team at any point during the year, just want to be in each league for organizational purposes (and so I can do my weekly recap for each league!). It's solely an access issue, as you can't commish a league that you're not in. So if you're in league 2 or 3 and don't mind me being listed as a co-owner, just reply here or shoot me an email.
We still have plenty of space (and can create a 4th league), so if you still want to join, let me know and I'll get you signed up.

Go League 3! If we are as good as the last person to wear #3 for the Hokies was, I'd say the other leagues are screwed.
I do understand that I will be competing against everyone in League 3 and it is pointless to talk trash to the other leagues, but I just got carried away. After all, only 39 days until kick-off

I've traditionally not been an ESPN fantasy guy (Yahoo player since 2003), but their 2013 product was 10000x better than Yahoo's. Plus a lot easier on my end to organize when we use only one site.
