Is it just me, or do the same two rows of darker shirts show up in three sections at the top level?
I actually made my comment in jest, but now that you mention it... I'd wager my next paycheck that the 3 middle upper deck sections have indeed been tampered with, there are several identical patterns in all 3 sections

Each of the top sections have been photo shopped. The middle three with the exact same pattern used multiple times within the sections themselves and the two on the edge with a different but identical pattern that, once again repeats within the section multiple times.
Some Photoshop novice got a little carried away with the repeater functionality. Hilarious
UPDATE: The original picture is from the UVa vs Clemson game last year. #9 in the country Clemson to be exact. Whose primary color is orange.... So not only did they have to photoshop a picture from the only game where a ranked opponent (let along #9 in the nation) came into their house last year in order to make it appear that the place was actually filled up, there's a pretty good chance the fans that were used for the replicate functionality were actually fans of the opposition.

don't have the original image. But these are just some of the fails i noticed on my phone. Each color is a repeated clone in the stadium background. The green circle and line is one of the worst hack copy and paste jobs I have ever seen. zoom in on that area in original photo and you see a straight line of cut pixels. hahaha.... LOLUVA could not be better at failing. They definitely earned the LOL in their name today.

Its actually even a little worse than how you saw it. Took it into paint, and its quite literally the ENTIRE upper bowl that is photoshopped. Look:
And the worst offender of them all is actually the circle in white. If you zoom in on the original image, you can see a CLEAR line within the entry portal where they copied from elsewhere and never bothered to clean it up. Its absolutely blatant.

wow... seriously I would love to meet the person who did this and sent it out into the interwebs. He/She is either clearly terrible at their job or so lazy/apathetic that they actually thought this would pass scrutiny. In both cases they deserve a large turkey leg for the joy they've spread.

oh he is definitely shopped. It looks like its a composite of at least 3 original images to me. the player carrying the flag, the team and what looks like band, coaches and others on the field, and the stadium with horrible cloned fans.

I'm not a photography person, but the guy holding the flag looks too in focus compared to the rest of the picture, including the grass he's standing on.
He also has no shadow for his right leg...
And looking at it closer, there's some weird glow around his body, like they didn't lasso close enough to him.
But he looks like a fool anyway, because the background looks like everyone else is heading into the locker room, not running out to start a game.
(Actually, he looks like a fool because he's wearing blue and orange...)

I'm not so sure the guy with the flag is photoshopped. The editor didn't have any of the copied portions covered by the guy or the flag, and someone this completely amateur certainly would have done so. I'm gonna guess this image was just captured at an angle where the guy with the flag kept running while the rest of the team went right to the sideline after entering the stadium. The guys who do the flags for us tend to do the same.
Why would 3 players run onto the field w/o their helmet on? Look at the left couple players. Helmets are in hand.

Which end of the stadium does UVA run out of? If that was VT at Lane, based on that angle, the team would need to be running to stage left, where their sideline is. The Wahoos look like they're jogging stage right.

I don't mind the player being shopped in. Despite common belief, UVa players do take the field every now and then, even if it seems like they aren't there. On the other hand, don't you dare try and convince me that Scott Stadium is ever full of UVa "fans".

I looked at UVAs recruit list, not very impressive. They only have one commit that had an offer from Tech, Jahvoni Simmons. Most of their commits had offers from schools like Buffalo, JMU, ODU. I know ratings and offer lists don't always translate, but it's nice to know that recruits are not choosing UVA over Tech. UVA has gotten some blue chip talent over the last couple years, but one or two players can only do so much. Recruiting is London's only strength. If he loses that, he gone. We can only hope they keep him around forever.
