So ESPN is holding a "Car Wash" for Beamer.... fitting.
Again, this is a positive from an exposure standpoint. Of course, they won't need to manufacture exposure after they kick the tail of the Buckeyes.
I think that what this amounts to is Beamer's turn for a day in Bristol. Most of the above schedule amounts to taped sound bites throughout the day. Only three items are noted as live. Jimbo Fisher had his day today, along with a bunch of other ACC coaches including Mike London. It is only fitting that Frank gets his turn. Last week it was Stoops/OK, etc. The week before that it was SEC til you could puke....now, it is our turn. Fisher quoted all the great things about the ACC (number of bowl teams, second to the SEC in NFL draft, etc.), but the announcers were still down playing the ACC. I guess when you are about to launch a new network devoted to one league, it becomes very difficult to maintain professional objectivity. Not that they didn't make valid points. I just find them more and more biased.
I miss college sports when they were more pre-professional and not just a big business. We have turned a corner, and there is no turning back.
