Ever since the MV7 run vs. WVU - Sean McDonough has been one of my favorite play by play calls. He also called the Nebraska "DANNY COALE, ALL THE WAY" play

I never noticed before - Bill Roth is taller than Burnop. Burnop was a TE back in the day, so he can't be small. I just never noticed Bill Roth was that tall. As for the pairing - as comfortable as an old shoe.

Good, Musburger won't be on saturday nights anymore. I prefer Fowler anyway. He and Herbie will be an awesome team. Plus, Rece will be on Thursday nights. Awesome stuff.

If I understand correctly, she's VERY well studied about college football. One could probably argue that she could take any of us to task when it comes to college football knowledge.
I can't speak to her ability to break down plays a la french, but as far as the landscape of football, who is good, who is overrated, the players, the coaches...she'd surely own any of us, and not just because she has the access. I have a lotta respect for her. She loves the sport and I would have chosen her for the selection committee.

I think that is the most notable item on this whole list. Getting Fowler back on play-by-play is huge, I think he's still very good at it. Excited to hear that team work the big games this season.

Here are the commentators for all of the games that matter...
Agreed, I'm just curious who's going to be together in the ESPN booth.

McDonough and Tessitore have a knack for being involved in big calls.

But, But, how are we going to play the Brent Musberger Drinking Game?!
everyone yells SHUT THE FUCK UP BRENT! and everyone takes a shot. awesome
Wow they put Musburger on the SEC Network? I guess Brad Nessler will be doing the Ohio State game which i like, except they have Holly Rowe (shudder)
I like Holly Rowe.
I do too. She always has logical, pertinent things to say, which is a rarity coming from sideline reporters.

Anyone else find it interesting that Todd McShay is going to be a reporter for some of the games?
If by "interesting", you mean "unfortunate", then yes.
So...did anybody else notice that Tim Tebow is working for the World Wide Leader now on the SEC network?
I saw that. They announced back in the Spring that he was going to be on the $EC Network though...
I have a thing for redheads, so I endorse the Sat. night A-team inclusion of Heather Cox
