The Hokies completed their collection of Edmunds brothers when 2015 linebacker Tremaine announced last night that he'll be joining the Hokies.
Edmunds was also considering Maryland, USC and Wake Forest, but he committed to join his brothers in Blacksburg, announcing his decision on NBC station WSLS.
"I could see myself playing at all of those schools, but Tech was just the best," Tremaine said. "They have such a top line defense and they're one of the best programs in the country."
He made his decision official a little after 6 p.m. last tonight but he didn't keep his family in the dark.
"I told them before I announced on air, so they knew," he said. "My brothers were really excited, they were excited for me."
However, he didn't let any of the coaches at the schools he was considering know how he was leaning until the broadcast.
"I didn't let any coaches know, so they found out on air like everyone else," he said.
But he quickly followed up with the Hokies to share the good news.
"I called Coach Stinespring and talked to him on Twitter," he said. "They were all really excited. I got to talk to Coach Brown, Coach Foster, a few others."
Now that he'll officially be following in Trey and Terrell's footsteps, he's looking forward to getting on the field with his family.

"It really means a lot, we just have chemistry," he said. "We know how each other plays. I can't wait to get out there."
In the mean time, he'll content himself with heading down to Blacksburg to watch his brothers on the field as he finishes his senior season.
"I want to be at a lot of games this year," he said. "I'm not sure which yet, but I really want to get down there."

Of course he is!
Welcome Tremaine!!!!!!!!
Now that the collection of Edmunds brothers is completed, lets get the cousins.
Lets get Sweat & his brothers.
Lets get Deberry & his brothers.
Lets get Dalton & his brothers.
Lets get the national championship and send Beamer out on a high note.
dude.... all this new recruiting content is the tits.
Question though, did you and Mark rock-paper-scissors for the ACC Media Days pass?
They can have their ACC Media Days...I was promised that with the new credentials I could go down on the field and call plays.
For that trailer you released today, you deserve that, sir!
WTH? A billdozer trailer released with no TKP announcement? How'd I miss that?

Welp. That's terrifying.
"I could see myself playing at all of those schools ( Maryland, USC, WF ), but Tech was just the best,"
I totally agree with Tremaine on this one.
I can't tell you how excited I am for the future of the backer position with Minor, Keihn, and Edmunds. Tremaine is 6'4 and growing, but he does an outstanding job of getting low-man leverage when taking on blocks, then shedding them and remaining low to tackle. He looks like a bigger version of Trey playing middle linebacker, and everyone knows how high I was on Trey as a linebacker prospect. People forget, the backer spot at VT is more of an inside linebacker than a true 4-3 outside linebacker, but you need speed to get to the edge and play contain on stretch plays. He is a perfect fit.
I cant wait for French to break down Tremaine Edmunds film on TKP.
With the season getting ready to start, I am going to be focused on Ohio State and VT's camp over the next few weeks. But we will review all the recruits after the UVA game.
Until then, here is Tremaine's junior year highlights: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2928808/tremaine-edmunds
I'm no French, but I think the review is going to be something like this:
Well, if he is as good as Trey at LB he's going to be a stud. I only saw Trey once in person in a playoff game. Ran for over 200 and 4 tds. But, more impressive were his 18 tackles playing more of a shallow safety spot. Was still quick to the LOS, though. Here are some of his HS LB stats as I've always wanted to see Trey at LB too.
Recorded 143 tackles (59 solo) and two sacks as a senior Also had four interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery as a senior/Recorded 124 tackles, 8.5 sacks and four forced fumbles as a junior
I actually thought he laid one of the best licks all year in a game where the opponent had intercepted a pass. Trey flat out drove through the kid. Just can't remember the game.
So the real question is how are they going to put their names on jerseys? Can't use T Edmunds. Just Edmunds is kind of repetitive. Twitter handles, perhaps?
My thought is that you will have a "Te. Edmunds," a "Trey Edmunds," and a "T. Edmunds." Or you will just have "Te. Edmunds," "Tr. Edmunds" for Tremaine, and just "Edmunds" for Trey. Didn't only Kendall last year have "Ke" on his jersey and Kyle was just "Fuller"?
No, Kyle was "Ky. Fuller"
Alright, well then my first scenario will probably be what happens.
Kyle and Kendall were Ky. and Ke. Fuller. (It will be sad just to see "Fuller.")
Terrell could use "Te." and Tremaine could use "Tr." Technically Trey could be "Fe. Edmunds" using his first name Ferrell. But that would be weird to everybody.
Or he could be "Edmunds III"
Edit: I assume most people probably read this and thought "Yeah, Edmunds I, Edmunds II, and Edmunds III," but I was actually referring to the fact that Trey is really Ferrell Edmunds III. But sure, let's go with Edmunds I, II, and III.
Sounds like we have our solution!
Wait, wait, I got it.
RB Edmunds, CB Edmunds, LB Edmunds.
You mean RB/TE Edmunds, CB/TE Edmunds, and LB/TE Edmunds, right?
Well, maybe, but they don't allow slashes. Dashes would be cool though.
All of these are good ideas
Or we could count down instead of up.
How about "Get the F Out of My Way Edmunds," "I'm Going to Hurt You Edmunds," and "That Ball is Mine Edmunds"?
To big to fit on the back of the jersey.
Leave off the last names and just go with "T1" "T2" and "T3". Such Terminator. Very Wow.
What about Ed, Edd, and Eddy?
Welcome Home Tremaine!
I'd tell you to "break a leg", but I'm afraid you'd take that literally.
Until your teammates come up with a better nick, I'll just call you this:
Which one is he in the picture?
Can we use South Carolina and Southern Cal instead of USC? Or USC-e and USC-w is fine.
far right with the bow tie
South Carolina is to be henceforth referred to as "SCar"
Is it me or does he look closer to 6'7" in that second picture?
Bucky Edmunds!!!
Well, does Bucky have a sister?
Official hokiesports.com bio says yes, yes he does. Younger.
Now, I'm not sayin' arranged marriages should or should not be a thing, I'm just sayin' we should let her and Kendall get to know each other a little bit.
Respectfully, Karen in that twitt pic is kinda hot. Really happy to have Tremaine and all the Edmunds!
