Well played. Yeah, that was really weird. I got my first official media email and joined the fray of copy, pasting, and tweeting the notes when I saw the replies from Williams and thought to myself, "Did I fuck that up?"
Perhaps VT released the wrong name, but at this time no correction has been issued. It's really conflicting information though.
At this point, I don't know, we'll see what happens when camp opens and whether or not he's participating.

My only guess at this point is that someone in the IT dept in Blacksburg screwed up. Wouldn't be the first time a placeholder kind of news story was accidentally released to the public.

No worries. let's take the silver lining in this. You may have just fell victim to the misinformation or wrong information that sometimes comes from having a media pass (understandable), but clearly Juice is getting his Hokie news from TKP which makes me believe the other players are too.

I thought it was odd that he stated last night that he was ready for camp if he did in fact have surgery on July 25th. Maybe he did have surgery and is hopeful for a quick recovery and is refuting the claim about him missing the opener.
Edit: I don't know who this Lanza guy is, but joe might ban him if he reports inaccurate info.

and Devin Vandyke has a stress fracture out 6-8 weeks. I can't believe the bad luck the Van Dyke brothers are having. Such Emotion... Very Sad... Need Vandyke

So it's Juice saying he's fine. I figured that based on the responses, but that's fine. He says he's not questionable for W&M, it's probably more of a formality for VT Athletics and legal...

I first heard of this about 2 weeks ago at the Richmond Hokie Club Kick-off dinner. Not going into who told me as that would not be cool to him, but it's true. Also heard that he knew about it for a while. Hopefully he will recover from this quickly as he will be a beast for us in the backfield.

Not sure if you read my whole post or not. I don't plan to divulge #sources. Especially for "twitter pound sign loving people." Actually, record yourself saying this 1000 times, post it to the KP along with an email and I will send you the source info. Best of luck!

Thanks, but there were so many more that could have been included. I keep on seeing posts and I'm like, "I should go add to that thread...," but, alas, I do not. We need a TKP historian.

Hopefully they talked to him about stuff like that and tell him it's better to get stuff early and fixed then to suck for a few games because of it...drop on the depth chart then have surgery and miss half of the season because of it.
And a leg for the avatar.

I can relate to such a scenario. Way back in the day, I had shoulder problems which would cause me all kinds of problems. During drills once, I broke on the ball in front of the receiver and one of those shoulders got stuck and the ball just bounced off of the one raised hand. The DC and defensive backs coach, Buddy Bennett, ran over to me face in mine and screamed something like, "intecept the ball, don't bat it done." From his perspective it must have looked pretty stupid to pass up a pick-6. I couldn't tell him my shoulder got stuck. In fact, I never told anyone connected to the team. Later I learned the heavy lifting was causing rotator cuff problems that were correctable with light exercises. Simple as that.
Go Marshawn! Go all Hokies!

Karate Kid 2 was on the other night, this dude will be known as Japanese Johnny in our house forevermore.
while looking for that pic I learned that the actor who plays Japanese Johnny (Yuji Okumoto) will give you an epic 80s reference autograph if you ask.
glorious

This may be the single most awesome comment today.
I wonder what it would take to get this put on Sam Roger's helmet.
That way, when opposing linebackers are looking up at the gray Blacksburg sky with Enter Sandman ringing in their ears, the fortune cookie they recently got will suddenly make sense.
"Look Both Way! Maybe Sam Rogers look for you!"

Juice just stiff armed TKP

Either that or Juice is doing what a lot of athletes do and is saying he is fine when he's not.

SERIOUSLY. Where the hell is Joe when you need him?
It took me about 10 minutes and reading this thread before I figured out who Joe Lanza is.
That happened to me this morning. I saw one thread (forget which), and I said to myself, "I thought Joe started that thread..."
Hopefully he is fine. Guess we'll truely know after practice today.
Wow, my first topic post and it gets slammed by Juice. Oh well, I'm just happy the report is wrong.
I'm so confused!
Ahahahah! This is fantastic.
ATTA BOY!

He sure shut us up. He he
He seems to be very straight and to the endzone. Doesn't spend too much time twittering about in the backfield.
For what it's worth on Juice, I double checked with VT, it wasn't a typo, and the info comes straight from the trainer.
So it's Juice saying he's fine. I figured that based on the responses, but that's fine. He says he's not questionable for W&M, it's probably more of a formality for VT Athletics and legal...
Remember how Brady was on the Pats' injury report for three years? This could be the start of something great.

Its actually an recurring joke on here. He wasn't calling you out.
This site could use a WIKI on inside-TKP jokes.
And many more I'm not remembering since I haven't started drinking yet.

Maybe this should be linked right under the Community Guidelines.
Thanks VT...10 seconds...
Hah. Just like that.
Horse seriously dropped the mic on that thread.

I thought there was one already. Like a newcomers guide to TKP.
may there be water treadmills for all!

Might just be the water, but that cat looks jacked out of its mind. Sorta like the real centaur.
You forgot more [x] than fans at LOLUVA spring game.
A leg for beating me to it.
Leg for great minds!
#PUNTERSWAG
Looks like we got ourselves a fight brewin!
"Sweep the leg!"
I beat you by 8 minutes.
You gotta get up pretty early in the afternoon to beat me to an 80s movie reference.
Sounds good, Iceman

Did this just get awkward?
Yeah. There's noooo way Cruise is as tall a Kilmer.
I don't like your tone, mister. But I think your avatar totally kicks ass. So...
Not sure who downvoted amszete but come on guys, really? You all are better than that.
...I would hope that he knew that he had hernia surgery.
Actually the point was he knew he had hernia problems for a while but was afraid to mention something about it.
Hopefully they talked to him about stuff like that and tell him it's better to get stuff early and fixed then to suck for a few games because of it...drop on the depth chart then have surgery and miss half of the season because of it.

Welcome to the site... have a leg on me!
Thanks man!
Anyone else just a little nervous that a member of the Cobra Kai is taking so much interest in the leg injury of one of our players?
Do you have a problem with that Mr. Lawrence?

Any news as to whether Marshawn was able to practice today? I did hear Ford looked great.
Just did light conditioning work. Don't think he did any drills.
Thanks, hoping he gets healthy soon.
