Is Chase Williams ready to lead the defense?

After spending five years in Virginia Techs defense as a back-up and on special team, Chase Williams seems to be finally ready to be a starter and a leader in Bud Fosters defense. With advice from his dad, St Louis Rams defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, Chase is confident he can be the leader the team needs.

I sure hope so. LB could make are break this defense.

I wish Chase all the best this season. He can be a leader on the D and still share snaps so from that standpoint I think the answer is YES.

Sounds a lot like Jack Tyler, and he was a little bit good, I guess.

Bud thought Jack Tyler was the best football player on his defense last season. As of right now, Chase isn't in that category.

Jack Tyler is a ninja. Chase Williams is a dude who knows some karate.

"Nope, launch him into the sun and fart on him on the way up"
