5 touchdowns! Wow, it is so great to actually see offense. And let's be real, not many teams are going to have a defense like our 1st unit, so only scoring once on them is ok.

Which was a major factor in Leal not being ready when Logan went down in the bowl game. He'd had nothing but 'run out the clock' minutes for three seasons. Hopefully whoever the backup might be this season (my bet based on coaches' comments is Leal again), he will see some prep time that is meaningful. At least the young guys have an actual QB coach that will prep them now, so that's a bonus.

Apparently that TD was on a screen pass. Ford will not see the field this year. It would be a huge waste to burn a redshirt for mop up duty when we have other backups.

Special teams were special again. Blocked field goal returned for TD and 3 for 4 for non-blocked kicks. And a long on in a pressure situation. Sweet!! I agree that these guys are working hard. Chip on the shoulder provides incentive.

That got me a little fired up. Get it Kendall
It shows that these guys really are working hard, not just going through the motions.
This is exactly what he looked like while he was doing it.
Andrew Ford 65 yards to Newsome, nice
I have a feeling we might see Ford this year if Motley isn't full speed. Hopefully, though, it will be in mop up duty only.
…and mop up duty consists of more than a kneel down because of a comfortable lead.

And burn a redshirt? Not likely.

I don't think we'll see Ford, but more than one QB will start a game. Maybe three.
