Tough week for ex hokie running back recruits - Harris and Grooms

It looks like Drew Harris has decided to leave UMass, they didnt give a reason other than it wasn't a great fit, I wonder if that guy will ever play.

Also noticed that Kevin Grooms left Marshall and is headed to Liberty, I remember we thought we had a really good shot at landing him, but I think he picked Miami over us like at the last minute or something, but I guess things never worked out there.

Sure would have been nice to have those guys playing the last couple of years, but doesn't look like things would have worked out anyways even if they did pick us and qualify academically.

On a side note I am really getting excited about Shai Mac and scared about the reports on Edmunds (that he still looks bothered by the injury).

Shai nor Williams red shirting ,McMillan moved to TB , could be an indicator of the state of Edmunds recovery. Hope it is not.

Unfortunately, it pretty much is. He's got a noticeable limp still.

Although Goforth said it was just a matter of him getting back on it and using it more. I tend to think it's that. I'm sure it's still a little sore coming off the injury and then going hard on it as it strengthens up. It wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't feeling 100% by week one but give him a few games and I think he will be fine. And this is coming with no real knowledge of everything except how I felt when I had a broken bone once and started to do things again.

If you don't want to recruit clowns, don't run a clown show.

Yeah, I have no doubt he'll be completely good to go at some point in the season, just probably not til around game 4 or so would be my guess (and I base that on absolutely nothing).
