Noice!

Here's his hudl highlight reel:

Impressions after viewing:
He is very fast off of the snap and beats tackles by being around them before they're set. Doesn't seem to have a large repertoire of moves to beat blocks. There are a couple of clips showing him overrunning the QB and nearly missing or missing a sack because of this. His tackling form is of the "spin 'em to the ground" variety more often than not. Has good ball awareness for a catch and a couple fumble recoveries.
He's definitely a good frame and instincts to build on but I think the coaches are going to really pound better tackling and rush tactics into him. I like his potential and think that he would be a very good addition to this class.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

I know, it's early in the morning, but I thought you were looking for this:

Shavar Manuel

-What we do is, if we need that extra push, you know what we do? -Put it up to fully dipped? -Fully dipped. Exactly. It's dork magic.

5-star d-lineman has us in the top 5? First thing that popped into my head:

lol

I'm starting to get to the point where I refuse to get excited about recruits unless they commit to VT and they're French-approved.

"French-approved": something only TKPers will understand is a compliment for a high school football player.

Its the equivalent of a 6th star.

He's no good to me dead.

When I first came to the site, I saw the French link at the top and thought to myself "oh, nice... a database of all LOLUVa material"... went and clicked on it and was thoroughly confused for a while.

That said, it makes total sense, now.

Shavar would fit well in a bud Fosters defense. This guy is a stud . Bud & wiles can turn him to a superstud.

Allen Ox

Probably worth mentioning that he's in the class of 2016. 5* by Rivals, #7 in their list. No ranking yet on 24/7.

"Exit light..."

He's like 3rd overall on 247 as of yesterday but for some reason it's not showing anything today.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

He looks like he is 35 years old. Approve.

Just seems to fit...

A picture is worth a thousand words. A gif is worth a million.

Apparently Miami is the lead for him to a point where his recruiter at Miami, their TE Coach Larry Scott, has said that he will quit his job if Manuel doesn't become a Cane. So there's that. #BoatsAndHoes

And FSU is 100% straight-up crystall ball'in on 247.

So, he's not coming here. Cool name, tho.

Way too early to say that. His Crystal Ball is a moot point now because he named Miami his leader. As far as we know we have as good as chance as FSU or any other of his leaders not named Miami at this point.

In Sam Rogers we trust.
