Not sure about Exum but Flowers doesn't have much to prove so there is no need to for him to play much. He made the Pro Bowl last year and there is a good chance that he makes it again this year so there is no reason for him to play and risk injury during the preseason. I think once the season starts you will start hearing about him.

Boykin has been doing pretty well, I think there is a good chance he gets a lot of playing time this year as the Packers 3rd or 4th receiver. Not sure about Hosley though other than the fact that he still plays for the Giants.

Exum played a bunch early in the preseason 'cause the Vikings had some safeties hurt. Played virtually every defensive/ST snap their first game. Those guys came back so the Vikings were giving them a look.
Flowers and Hosley have been limited by foot injuries. Hosley's been left fighting for a roster spot after getting suspended in the offseason, unfortunately.

Hey, I noticed that KyFuller, Exum and Flowers haven't been seeing a ton of field time this preseason. What's the deal with that?
Fuller has seen a lot of field time this preseason with defense and special teams.

James Jones left but he still behind Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson and is fighting for the 3rd spot with rookie Davante Adams.
