For those that haven't seen the announcement, Miami will have a true Freshman under center this season. Take into account that he did beat out senior Jake Heaps, a transfer from Kansas for the starting job. Kaaya is 6'4", 206 Lbs. I imagine Bud started drooling thinking about another freshmen QB on his slate of opponents.

Let me see If I got this correct, Thursday Night , Lane Stadium, the Costal Champ being the winner. Bud Loves these things ! Young Man will have a eye opener for sure...Go Hokies !!!!
Was following that a little bit over the last few weeks. I'll put it this way, Miami can spin it however they want, they wanted to redshirt Kaaya this year. They were banking HEAVILY on either Heaps or Olsen starting this year. Osen got himself into trouble and is likely going to end up transferring at some point, and Heaps showed up overweight and completely underwhelmed in workouts. They really had no choice but to start Kaaya.
Cant wait for this gentleman to get acquainted with Bud.
Welcome to the Terrordome, kid.
No amount of martial arts training can help him Kaaya his way out of it.
Ahh, ...true freshman. This should be GLORIOUS. #giveemtheD
fresh meat!
I suspect we'll beat "Bye, Felicia!" into the ground this fall: http://www.dailynews.com/sports/20140721/bye-felicia-brad-kaaya-miami-qb....
The memes just make themselves. Soon...
1. Nice. Well done, kid, let's hope he's Golden's Ticket.
2. Jake Heaps go from all-recruited-everything to never-was
3. Looks like Golden has cycled through his guys and wants this guy to be a multi-year starter. I think Miami can get backs and receivers but if they can develop a QB, they could be dangerous in 2016.
Just wait for the Heisman hype a-la Jacory Harris... Then we can break him.
Saw this yesterday...yeesh

Well played, sir.
I feel like there's a Bob Marley reference to be made here.
More fodder for Foster.
I agree re: Bob Marley:
Get up and turn I loose;
Wake up and turn I loose;
Wake up and turn I loose,
For the rain is fallin'.
I've got to have kaya now!
I've got to have kaya now!
I've got to have kaya now,
For the rain is fallin'!
Dadi's got to sack Kaaya now.
For the U is fallin'
I found a picture of Dadi practicing his Kaaya-te chop:
This really should have more upvotes.
Leg up for Marley:
'No waann ya fe galang so! You waann come call I up, but ya caaan't come call I up'
another Foster Kid?
So what you're saying is, he's the one that threw the least interceptions in fall camp.
He's gonna meet his Dadi on October 23rd.
