Got a chance to speak with Ace Friday night. He's looking forward to being back on campus and in Cassell. Says he talks to Buzz frequently, and would love to land on Buzz's bench in the near future. Let's hope this works out!

Also, the UMES game is sort of a Hokie's great basketball get together, so there should be some great bballers around on November 14.

We may not lose another game in 2014!

Then flip the calendar and there may not be many wins!

@ Penn State is going to be a tough as they return 5 of their top 6 scorers from last season, including D.J. Newbill, the second leading scorer in the Big Ten last year at 17.8 PPG. He had a busy summer with time spent at the US camp, as well as being invited to both Lebron James and Kevin Durants Skills Academy. Other than that game though, they all should be games we should have a chance of winning.

I'll be there for the first game, just to see the beginning of a new era - A WINNING ERA!!!

It's great that Jim Weaver's passion for opening seasons against directional schools carried over to the basketball program.

Live for 32. Ut Prosim. Let's Go, Hokies.

You must have not watched our schedule during Johnson's two years. This is pretty much the same as what the first two seasons reflected. This was Weaver's gift to Johnson to inflate his W-L record and keep the hoops budget ridiculously low for another year or two. Almost all of it was set up in early winter. It's what the two of them devised for what they expected to be the third year of that era. The good news is that we'll have two people (Whit & Buzz) working to make a respectable schedule in the future.

For those that want to preview the team and are in town for the W&M game, they will be having an open gym on Saturday from 10 - 1130 in Cassell. There will be about a dozen or so recruits in town as well.

Justin Robinson is part of this group of recruits, he would be a great addition for Buzz.
