This UCLA is definatly not the UCLA we played. Hundley straight blows in this game. He looks slow and hasn't thrown anything. UVA's d-line is straight dominating their o-line.

Their line is getting him blown up. What UVa is doing that we didn't last year was swarm him. We had open shots on him, but missed tackles and didn't have anyone their to follow up.

That's just have for me to believe. I thought this game would be a blowout win for the Bruins.....
I guess we'll just have to hear now how good the Hoo 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd down defense is!!!!!

So I saw a good chunk of the UCLA>LOLUVA game. The second quarter was a laugh fest and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
But that backup QB for LOLUVA looks like he could be some trouble. I'd be happy about my quarterback situation if I was a Carruthers, but then I'd be sad about my popped collar and loafers.

Don't give up hope yet. Timecop has already said that he was going to play both QB's in the UR game this weekend. If history is any indication, this is a pattern that will repeat through the end of the season. Just ask either of UR's two QB's.

I was also really impressed with Blanding. They have a defense over there. Jon Tenuta is a big part of that. It was the first game, but I'd keep an eye on UVA.
We also felt really good about our defense after the Alabama game, then choked last year due to a turn-over prone offense. Wait... is UVA turning into VT 2013?

I talked to a friend of mine who has inside connections to football and he said you usually so backups do really well because teams aren't prepared for them or have little to no film on them. Hell the redskins made Todd Collins into a playoff quarterback for three games... My point is let's see if he can do this for even 4 games before we call him adequate and let's also see if he can read the wristband calls right from here on out

Heh.
Don't worry, the DYNASTY is coming.
Fairly full now though. They'll be gone by half though.
Is UVA playing this good or does UCLA still think it's 9:30am and needs time to wake up?
Jet lag.... It'll get after ya.
THey're doing a good job of getting to and containing Hundley.
UVA's defense is looking good right now. Can't say that about the offense though. They look like a bunch of kindergartners.
Looks like UCLA is starting to move the chains. OH-UVA JUST THREW A TD...for UCLA by gift of an int! Bwahahaha
That was one of the worst throws I've ever seen. LOLambert
fwiw it was tipped
So Lambert didn't even make it to half before his career at UVA was yanked. They have a backup sophomore in who actually managed to throw a TD.
UVa is the true embodiment of the old saying of the back-up QB being the most popular player on the team.

Bet their fans feel stupid now. Down by 4, their D has knocked Hundley out of the Heisman picture and they have all of the momentum.
Did anyone else just hear the commentator call UVA "Virginia Tech"? Lol
Yes, he has almost done it about 4 times now. He keeps pausing and then going on.
UVA fan on Sabre:

"Let's be honest...We look like a Top 20 team so far!"
That's some lofty air there, might want to...careful!
LOL.....LOLUVA
They understand that the number to the right is the score, not the rank...right?
I have a philosophical question for you all: If UVA beats UCLA, but there is no one in the stadium to see it, does it actually happen?
TimeCop!
BooHoos
Shameless Hokie that I am, I did peruse TheSabre afterwards.

So having missed the game…did UCLA need those pick-sixes in order to win?
Yes, absolutely, but CML also created a QB controversy
UCLA's O-line was getting mauled. No semblance of an offense until a good TD drive late in the game.
2 pick sixes and a fumble return for TD. only one offensive TD. If we just count the offense, it would be UVA 20-7.
But it wasn't.

Yeah, I was looking forward to 11 throwing to 11 for a TD on the way to 11 in a row in the 11th month.
The first 11 being Lambert, and the second 11 being Fuller.

So Lambert or Johns will be in the QB rotation at Richmond next year?

I saw a lot of green shirts un the stands. Did the Bill and Mary fans take the wrong exit 118b?
