I've heard the 'Shoe is huge, but not that loud due to a flatter design. Lots of the sound spills out, and the fan base is not as energized. Can anyone comment on this?
I had heard this about the Big House but not the Horseshoe. Last big game I can remember watching on TV from there was the OSU/USCw game and the place looked like it was rockin'

Don't underestimate the negative effects of your O-Line's unconventional practice methods on one's rushing average.
