Felt good to have college football back. Last weekend kicked the fall off nicely, even if my and most everyone else's picks sucked. Surprises, tight games, Les Miles being Les Miles, what more could you ask for? This week offers another solid week of OOC matchups and one really big, early Pac12 game. The national headliner is the Spartans of Michigan State heading to Eugene vs the Roboducks. This appears to be the first head to head game that will help shape the playoffs. If you can swing it, you should really have two TV's up on Saturday night.

I haven't tried it yet, and honestly, not sure I will. I'm a hop head, and love their Easy IPA, along with some locals down here from Evolution Lot 3 and Dogfish 60 minute. Prob go with Natural Light (the beer with the taste for food) or Miller Lite for the crabs. I've heard very mixed things about the Dead Rise..........so I'm not that curious about it.

Cheers indeed! It's definitely not an amazing beer, more of a curiosity. Certainly not a pleaser for all tastes, but I brought it up because, well, old bay and crabs. Out of curiosity, as a fellow hop head, what do you get out of natty light/Miller light?
Quantity. Natural is perfect for crabs, because, well, you can drink a 12 of it and you're not falling down. For sheer volume, it's usually one of those two. But for basic go-to beers, I'm on the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale train right now. Out of cans. For some reason, it tastes better to me out of the can, poured into a VT pint glass of course.
