We just need to keep momentum in our favor and keep the crowd out of it. From home it sounds just as loud when they are on offense as when we are (except 3rd down for us)

A lot of football left to play, but I love it. Our guys look like they're feeling it right now, and if we can maintain this intensity on defense and the same level of consistency on offense (minus that sequence in there when we were backed all the way up), then I like our chances. Go Hokies! Shock the Shoe!

You could kind of tell field position was huge in the first half.. really moved the ball every time we had good field position, but didn't do much of anything those few drives we were backed up (I'm sure some of it was just not wanting to make a mistake with the lead)

Two big keys to our success thus far - 1. Field position is helping us a LOT. 2. OhState is horrible in the red zone. Some because of us, some self inflicted. It's nice seeing our D rise up to stop them time after time. Last thing - Brewer is one cool cat. I cannot remember a QB come in and immediately show such poise since... oh THAT's why he's called Vanilla Vick!

Yeah man, that was great. We have so many of our friends that look for him now. I got so many texts after his TD it's almost like he's bean assigned as an honorary relative or something.
It was a great TD, they did everything correct to make that happen.

I've seen the 30 package on 3rd-and-long situations, but haven't seen a 3-4. I have to rewatch the film, but it looks like Bud is using a TNT 8-man front with the other end lined out wide.

With second half as good as the first half, VT will bring the W and maybe some high ranking recruits to Blacksburg.

I may have just seen 4-3 over/under fronts and confused them with a 3-4.
