Fantastic game. BOTH the offense & defense played great! Not much success rushing, but we took what they gave us with the passing game. That's the smart way to a win! Bud's D stomped a mudhole in the OhState offense. Barrett will be a good QB, but we've already GOT a good QB - Brewer! Smart, cool as ice, and tough as HokieStone! I think this should pop us into about 15th place in the polls. Maybe even higher, like 12th. The thing that matters is the confidence boost this gives this young team. That's where it will pay in dividends. Smart playcalling by Loeffler, and Bud was Bud. A great win for the program!

Gotta say, I had a pretty low opinion of OSU for whatever dumb judgmental reason before this game but I've been impressed with the fans that have come over here. Can't wait to go again in Lane next year.

Everyone we talked to today was pure class. And I don't mean some of them, or even most of them; I mean every single person was great. Before the game, during the game, and after the game. And the move by their band was the cherry on top.
I'm sure they have their assholes (just like everyone else), and I'm sure it's different when mcchicken comes to town, but IMO they rival Nebraska as far as how they treated us.
Let's make sure we return the favor next year... it'll make the long drive home a little less painful for them after we beat 'em again!!

A win on multiple levels. Josh Sweat was in attendance and witnessed how lethal Bud's pass rush is. If that doesn't win recruiting battle for him then he's a lost cause lol.

A great win for Frank and for the team. It will do TONS for their confidence going forward. I don't think this team will be too arrogant (I know, it's early) and overly confident. Instead I think they will build on this. Lots of hard work, and smart coaching went into this victory. Credit to Loeffler and to Bud for their game strategies. Credit also to the Buckeyes in general for their hospitality. Their band did pregame stuff complimenting us, and postgame. Their fans appeared to be civil, contradicting what some had predicted. Columbus wold have been a good experience either way, but this win made it a GREAT experience!

Yeah, anytime a program like OSU drops a home opener to an unranked team, there's gonna be a knee-jerk reaction. Seemed to be a fair amount of levelheadedness as well.
