As if playing Tech Triumph and making a big VT during pregame wasn't enough, The Ohio State University Marching Band also played Tech Triumph after the game. Unbelievably classy. Thank you, folks!

OSU is a classy university even in a loss. The horse shoe is classy stadium to silence,
We just started walking out of the stadium when their band started playing Tech Triumph. Such class... it is what sports are all about. I also couldn't believe how classy the OSU fans were after the loss. so many of their fans congratulated us walking out of the stadium. Our response - "thank you. See you in Blacksburg next year." They responded, "we well be there." I think there will be a lot of red in Lane next year after what happened last night.

I always kind of hated Ohio State (though I did appreciate their win over Miami in 2001) but I'm finding it REALLY difficult to continue doing so after the experience with the university and their fans over the past week. They showed the highest class, even in defeat, and stories like this just reinforce it. Combine that with their actions after 4/16 and you really can't hate them much anymore.
Everyone who gets a ticket to the Labor Day game next year.... remember this. These guys deserve our respect.
