ESPN Giving Tech Serious Love?

I never thought I'd see the day that espn would give us the nod.
They still are skeptical about the schedule and do mention the possibility of an OSU slide, but overall lets enjoy the love while we are getting it.

They're not wrong in us having a weak schedule. Right now, the rest of the Coastal is looking like a smoldering dumpster fire, with UNC needing last second wins to beat Liberty and SDSU, Miami getting spanked by UofL, UVa being UVa, Duke having the misfortune of losing arguably their best offensive and defensive players for the year, and us having the luxury of facing a VERY weak Wake Forest and a mediocre at best BC in our cross division play, completely missing FSU, Clemson, and Loserville. We don't have another ranked team on our schedule at the present, and if Ohio St craps themselves, its likely we could see a situation in December where we finish the regular season having played no teams that are ranked in the final polls.

We've already beaten the second-best team in Virginia.

ODU isn't on our schedule this year.

Wasn't disagreeing that our schedule is soft, but I believe we will face three more ranked teams at least. We could very well face an undefeated Pitt team who is looking like a solid running team which was our Achilles heal last year in a few games, most notably BC. I think we will see a 1 loss Duke team which will definitely pop into the top 25 especially after last year. Another which is less likely would be UNC. UNC has struggled with blocking and consistency on D but if they can knock off Clemson before we head into that game we'll get some credit. Finally WHEN we reach the ACC Championship we'll face a highly ranked FSU, Clemson or UL (FSU most likely). If we can run the table and beat a strong Atlantic opponent in the title game it would be hard to think we wouldn't get the playoff nod.

I was pleasantly surprised with all the attention ESPN gave Bud Foster. I think I heard "Foster" three times for every time I heard "Beamer".

Speaking of Beamer, I think I counted 7 'who farted's from good ol Frank on Saturday night.

A lot of people down here in the Triangle media are trying to pump the brakes on all the "VT Back" talk, but it's a lot of the national media's doing. There's a long way to go and like Coach Beamer said, we gotta build on it in order to put together a great season. I think most Hokies fans realize that and aren't writing us into the ACCCG just yet.

Only DA U and USCw can be 'BACK' in the media's opinion. For many of them, VT was never THERE.

Like everyone, I'm hoping for great things to come, but I feel like...
I don't know how to say it...that anOSU victory was just so freaking great, I don't care what else happens right now.
I know I will come around on Saturday, but I feel like I can die in peace right now.
