Bud Foster said the Hokies had a plan for OSU, a plan he would not reveal to the mass media. VTs defense responded to the challenge perfectly and terrorized J.T. Barret. The Buckeyes didnt see it coming. After a beat-down, the Buckeyes are about to regroup for their next team.

I hope they do well the rest of the season until they meet VT again.

The comments are delicious, apparently the refs stole the game from OSU. wow
oh really? those 102 penalty yards say differently. most I think VT has had in a while
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST CUT DOWN ON THOSE PENALTIES.

That was just one comment by an obviously addled fan. She was pretty well dismissed by several responses.
Ask Dadi how many times he was held. There were 7 sacks and no holding calls? Riiight.
I'm glad she posted that. I mean, apparently everyone wanted her to weigh in on the loss. It was hilarious.
Wow!!
"Ruth Furguson (SeniorCitizenBuck)
Everyone has been asking for Ruth to weigh in on this Buckeye game so i will. Like most fans it was clear to me that the refs stole this one from the buckeyes. Urban coached his butt off and C.J. consistently was successful. We DESERVED TO WIN FOR OUR LEADER BRAXTON. I don't know why they did this to us. I fear Braxton felt scorned by the refs while he was on the sideline cheering on the Buckeyes. I still think this team has what it takes to win the National Championship because this is just one out of conference loss. We have the benefit of having the best coach, wide receivers, defense, and quarterback- and it would be shameful if we missed out on the first national playoff. Ohio State belongs there. O-H-"
The Marshawn fumble has to stick in their craw. These days, ref's just call any close play a fumble to see who recovers it. This one, which I thought was fumble in real time, was called down and it looked like OSU was going to win that wrestling match at the bottom.
It was the right call, but I can see why they are upset on that one.
Just when they think they figure things out, Foster will have another plan in 2015.
And two more weapons with Sweat and Settle
And Reavis at FS. (I would say Holland Fisher at Rover but ..... the lack of mentions on Fisher....considering he's almost 20 years old....is disconcerting)
I got to thinking about all of the "young" and "inexperienced" comments about anOSU players.
How sweet is next year's game going to be if all of those young players on both sides put up 10+ win seasons this year? Bring the hype, baby! Love it.
In general, I have found Buckeye fans post game to be really good ones. There's not a lot of the "refs gave it to you" type comments you get from some fan bases or the attempt to degrade the W but saying stuff like "we have a down year" or something. They have just admitted that VT was the better team that night. And in talking with people who went to Columbus, it sounds like they were treated well and got a lot of the same reaction. I have a newfound respect for OSU fans. I always kind of assumed they'd be a lot like Bama fans, but in general I really have liked their approach.

I don't feel like checking the numbers, but I would be that the Hokies are just as young as the Buckeye's.
