Hokiesports posted a video with some game-day sound bites from players and coaches. Thought it was pretty cool.

40,000 more eyes to see what we are going to do tonight.

Well done, Torrian

The Dude Abides

Not to nitpick, but he was a little off in his math....

More like 80,000 more eyes than Lane.

"When I was growing up, Virginia Tech was a school that was kicking ass and taking names, and it's time we get back to that" - James Franklin

...if Lane was at 42% capacity

edit: nvm, i see what you did there.

Not the bagman VT deserves, but the bagman VT needs right now.

What if they all wore eye patches?

Taylor, looking desperately throws it deep..HAS A MAN OPEN DANNY COALE WITH A CATCH ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FIVE!!!!....hes still open

You forgot buckeyes. I think it was a lot more than 80K eyes, considering that fact.

The other eye was being blocked by a single tear creeping down their faces

This is the coolest video I've ever seen from Hokiesports.

One thing we have yet to see ... The raw emotion of Scott Loeffler after a big game... we have now seen it! Little Beamer didn't know what to do.

Sam Rodgers- absolutely beast of a player and he gives pre-game speeches oh myy gawdd!!!
Brewer- looked like he greated every player before they ran out on the field, the kid gets it 10000% and I couldn't be happier with his effort and determination for the team, the school and HokieNation.

The confidence in the locker room in through the room!!!!! I love it

"I'm high on Juice and ready to stick it in!" Whit Babcock

Now I know why the O has looked good this year, Sam Rodgers said it must be so.

Correy

So HYPE after watching this

Who is that guy? A TKPer? Whoever he is, he is awesome

That is going to be that dude's favorite FOREVER, soooo jealous

that picture came close to front page on imgur

I had seen it before that, but that is where I grabbed the picture from.

I tried to show this to one of my coworkers yesterday, a PSU guy that doesn't read TKP, and when I described it he had already seen it somewhere. This pic is becoming famous

This video should put to rest all doubters of Loeffler and the work our offensive coaches are doing right now. These guys just get it, and they're being taught very well by guys who are overflowing with energy. If you're a recruit, take notice. This is the kind of chemistry you want to be a part of right now!

Awesome!

That was awesome. One of the higher quality videos posted by Hokiesports.

Party Positive.

Now that Hicks is gone, Hokievision as they have been branded is starting to turn out some good stuff.

Even stuff as simple as the intro video for Volleyball have recieved more attention than in the past. They used Nikki Giovanni and I can't wait to see how it turned out.

Holy shart I feel like shotgunning an Icehouse and eating a live rattlesnake. GO HOKIES!!!!

Hoooo... Icehouse. They still make that stuff?

Anyone remember Reddog. Or Red Wolf?

Gas station beer'll get after ya'.

You'll be pleased to know they know make Icehouse 40oz in plastic bottles. Available at a house of ill repute near you.

And yes, those do say "Shatter Proof" on the front.

"Eat, Drink and Be Merry, for Tomorrow We Die!" "Geaux Hokies is pronounced GUUH-X" - Andrew Jackson, 1815

that steel reserve will get after ya

"That kid you're talking to right there, I think he played his nuts off! And you can quote me on that shit!" -Bud Foster

I feel hungover and full of regret just looking at those.

Gotta' say I'll put down a cold Miller High Life any day of the week though. Well, in summer anyway... And probably not in a plastic bottle... But it truly is the champagne of beers.

Red Dog and Icehouse were both from Plank Road Brewery I believe. Haven't had one in years so dunno if it's still around, but yeah it'll get after ya. They actually made an Icehouse Light for a few years that for some reason I thought was the nectar of the Gods. I still have a couple of old school IHL pilsner glasses. *sigh* oh the '90's.

They still make Icehouse. I have a buddy who that's all he drinks.

Both are still produced by Plank Road which is a subsidiary of Miller designed to appear as a microbrewery.

I didn't want this video to end! So good! These pre-game and locker room speeches get me so PUMPED!

And quiet Scott Loeffler jumping into Shane Beamer's arms out of excitement seriously makes me happy.

loeffler

That stood out to me as well. It's good to see Lefty reaping the rewards of all his hard work.

great gif creation. leg

I heard Lefty was on the field absolutely going nuts after the game. He was turnt up!

So awesome. The energy from the coaches is palpable, and it looks like our guys were having so much fun and they trust each other and will fight for each other.

Also - Sam Rogers pep talk?!?! I could run through a brick wall layered with steel and a solid diamond core!!!

"Exit light..."

This video was amazing. Now we need someone to make one of those Bad Lip Reading videos that they do with the NFL soundbites.

OH MY GOD AV CLUB MAKE THIS A THING PLEASE

So excited for tonight's TTL!

We all know that A-Aron Moorehead looks like Vince Vaughn, but geeze - he sounds like him too!

Earmuffs!

When he said to go get two more I'm pretty sure he was talking about crab cakes.

I actually got chills. this is great.

tyrod did it mikey! tyrod did it!

damn, Rogers is INTENSE. fucking love that guy. So rare to see a sophomore command so much respect on a team. Cannot believe he was a walk-on and we we're lucky enough to get him.

When you are the first one there, the last one to leave, know the entire playbook, volunteer to do extra reps with other position groups, AND you've beaten Chuck Norris in internet jokes you earn the respect of a team. I have no doubt that Sam Rogers races Lefty to be first there in the mornings and turns the lights off at the practice facility every night.

Sam Rogers opens, closes, works every position, and serves every meal at Chik-fil-A on Sundays.

Ok, I'll bite .... Chik-fil-A is closed on Sundays (ducks)

not when David Wilson is in town

This is so awesome... but somebody desperately needs to do a bad lip reading of it...

"We're your family right!?"

"You love your family right!?"

God that was awesome

I want to see the rest of Dadi's speech

Outside it's night time, but inside it's LeDay

I love this team. If that video doesnt give you chills, something is seriously wrong with you

simon

Wasn't sure where to post it and it didn't seem worthy of its own thread but consequences dished out by HCFB for Bucky's dancing penalty:

Luckily for Hodges, 1,600 yards is only about a dozen or so strides for him.

I am OK with that. How many chances will you ever get to shimmy in front of 105,000 fans that you just shut up by making a sweet play.

His dance really didn't seem disrespectful or overly celebratory, but it is what it is. He may have added an inch or two during his 1,600 yard dash.

One of the best moments, when Brewer is shaking every players hand before the game.
