Beer of the Weak: Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale
Any good? I've had their Melonhead. Kinda tasted like watermelon bubble
gum but not too sweet.
I have probably tried about 30 different Pumpkin beers and this is one of my two favorites. The other top one would be the Schafly Pumpkin Ale if you can find it. It sold out in 24 hours at my Total Wine and More before I could get in there.

Schafly makes a ton of great drinks though so if you see them as an option its probably worth a taste. I am a big fan of their Grand Cru, Quadrupel Ale, and their Biere de Garde

Shipyard is one of my 2 favorite pumpkin beers as well. The other being Anderson Valley Fall Hornin'. All the anderson Valley beers are delicious!
If you see this, try it. Solid fall beer right there.
I also hit total wine to try every new pumpkin beer every year, and agree shipyard one of the best in the low test zone, though I prefer the high test beers. Shipyard's Smashed Pumpkin is more my speed. Crown Valley Imperial Pumpkin Smash rocks, and Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale is really good if you like stuff in the 8-10% alcohol range.
I haven't seen the Weyerbacher or I would have grabbed those. Weyerbacher always makes solid beers. I really miss Blasphemy and Prophecy that they retired.
