This coming weekend will be the biggest recruiting weekend in terms of star power in recent memory. The list of probable attendees include:

5* CB Kevin Toliver (LSU soft commit)
5*/4* DE Jalen Dalton
4* RB Bryce Love
4* TE/DE Devante Brooks (2016)
3* OT Mike Arnold
3* CB Adonis Williamson
3* ILB Victor Alexander (UCLA soft commit).
Sweat and Toliver are obviously the big fish, but the all of them have impressive offer sheets and would be great gets regardless of their ranking.

Need a good showing by the crowd and the team. Any idea of the forecast for this weekend eshiben5? It would be nice to have warm sunny fall day to dispel the idea of bad Blacksburg weather. Hopefully all these kids show up Friday night so they will get the whole treatment despite the early game. I know the coaches have already rolled out the red carpets for some of these guys.

There have actually been a good amount of rumblings around recruiting forums saying that there's a good chance that he will commit this weekend. I know he's stated recently that we are the favorite and 4 out of his last 5 visits have been to Blacksburg (the other was to an FSU camp where he was unable to get an offer), so I would not be surprised at all to see a commitment.
Well that's great to hear and would be a good start to this years OL haul.

What I learned from that gif is that boats are the bane of sunglasses.
basically same thing happened to me on a speed boat back from the Moon Party in Thailand. Boat hit some major chop and everyone went flying. I accidentally gave the flying macho man elbow to some cool grandma right in the forehead. She had the largest bump I had seen and we thought she had a concussion. After hitting the hospital we got confirmation she would be ok and not concussed, but man I still feel bad about that.
As long as you didn't do this afterwards, I think you are good.
I keep hearing about Tolliver, but does anyone have any intel on him. Is he just taking visits to take visits or is he seriously contemplating committing elsewhere. He would be a huge get for DBU.

From what I've read (pretty much pure speculation obviously), he's 50/50 on staying committed to LSU, but Tech has made a huge impression on him over the past few months and could be considered his next favorite school. Apparently he loves the tradition of stud corners getting early playing time and Tech's reputation of churning out NFL DB's. That and the fact that he is still very close with Isaiah Ford can only help us. He was also in Columbus for the game and from all reports it only helped our chances. Still a long shot but there have been some encouraging signs.

His web presence is very much for LSU at this point, and LSU fans (via Tiger Droppings) believe hes 110% committed. I believe I read on there that his parents are in LSU's corner as well. If he becomes a Hokie, it would be a MAJOR recruiting win. If anyone can convince him, it's Torrian Gray.
With that said, this kid is dirty. He plays day 1 in Blacksburg.
Yeah that wouldn't surprise me at all considering I've only read Tech and OSU threads about him so they obviously should be taken with a grain of salt. More than likely it's probably a similar situation to what Mook is doing right now.
Isaiah Ford seems like such a nice dude. He's like the new David Wilson. Very personable, well spoken, performs well.
Anyone know what the deal is with Dalton? Seemed like he was a UNC lock.

I'm going to be SWEATing this recruiting year out. So much talent looking at VT. I know Toliver is a long shot, but him and Kendall plus a healthy Facyson? Are you kidding me? Then, add Sweat to that and look out for the LPD!
I don't like to chase stars but, we all remember the broken play in the Orange Bowl when Tyrod linked up with David Wilson in the back of the endzone. Tyrod scrambled around, made a throw on a laser right in front of the sideline, and Wilson made an amazing catch to stay inbounds for the TD. *5 star QB linking up with a *4 star RB.
We NEED these high power recruits. I'm just saying, sometimes star power matters....sometimes.
To be fair, Wilson very very nearly ruined that play for us.
Tyrod was trying to hit a wide open Boykin who was stationary, and Wilson darted in front and stole the catch from him. Yeah, it was a good play, but his momentum was very close to carrying him OB before he was able to establish himself in the field of play, and nearly cost us points. Boykin was established, wasn't moving. In the end, it was a good play, but I'm pretty sure the coaching staff might have had something to say to DW about it when the film was reviewed later on.
Lol, fooled the heck out of me. I'd have to check it out again. Still, it was an insane play.
If anything that shows how much talent he had that he made the catch.

Lawrence is considered at Florida lean but it's great to see us getting large numbers of highly rated guys on campus, especially those from out of state.
Here's hoping we can get at least one commit after the Ga Tech game, Byrd committed after the ECU game and I would love to hear some more good news after we tear up GT!
I know biggest thing for sweat now is to get healthy but his injury tonight means he's probably not gonna visit tomorrow
