GT Paul Johnson happy Logan Thomas is gone: is he not worried about Michael Brewer?

Johnson admitted that, "Logan Thomas was a tremendous athlete, and he probably through the years hurt us as much running as he did throwing," Johnson said. "He was a big, physical guy. Brewer is more of a typical, pro-style quarterback . . . they won't have a lot of designed runs for him.

Hey, look at that, Paul Johnson focuses more on the running game from a QB than the passing attack.

Boy is he really going to be thrown for a loop this year when we unleash our secret weapon on him this year. The forward pass.

CPJ is probably just glad he wont have to worry about his linebackers feeling like they have to literally punch the QB in the helmet to bring him down.

You could've said the same thing when the Broncos replaced Tebow with Peyton Manning. Just because they won't have designed runs doesn't mean a quarterback isn't dangerous: I wouldn't be worried about designed qb runs for Michael Brewer either. There's bulletin board material, and then there's an opposing coach accurately describing changes to your offense
