More bad news out of the domestic assault world and the NFL, this time striking former Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer.
Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer broke his wife's nose when he head-butted her in the face after she bit his lip to stop his unwanted sexual advances during a July domestic dispute, police say.
Authorities say Dwyer punched his wife in the face the next day when another argument ensued, records show. Dwyer also punched walls before picking up a shoe and throwing it at their son. The shoe hit the boy in the stomach.

Haha nah, not at all. I was just saying he deserved to be arrested on general principle. The 'why was he arrested' was simply a statement suggesting that it didn't matter why. It's why I edited my original post.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, though. He went to GT and was a Steeler, so whatever. Feel bad for his family. Sounds like he's got some troubles all his own, so I don't wish him poorly, it's all in jest.

Dude has serious issues. He has repeatedly threatened suicide if his wife left him.
She has stayed around and taken the beatings to save him when what he needed was serious psychological help. I'm glad all this domestic dispute is blowing up, I would predict this is going to continue to be a trending topic with a lot of NFL players. It gives their spouses, girlfriends and families the courage to come out and put an end to the abuse.
