His yard after the catch has been impressive for the Virginia tech hokies, but when he is not catching passes from Michael brewer Willie Byrn seems to have found another way to relax after difficult games. On his free time, Willie byrn has learned to play the guitar and singing. Judging by this clip, his skills as a musician is almost as impressive as a receiver.

If he ever needs a backup pianist/keyboardist/bassist, I'd make the drive up. Especially with the repertoire he was showing.
There's a Wang joke here.
If he ever needs a guy to hold up a lighter in the crowd, I have the talent for that!
Good stuff. Better than I expected.

One of my absolute favorites. And Willie does it well.
I guess he missed the memo that he doesn't have to play guitar to get girls because he's on the football team.
Yeah, but playing guitar AND football?
Dual threat skills win a lot of games, playa.
Worked out okay for this guy. Formed needtobreathe while playing wide receiver for Furman. Pretty good, too -- received Banks McFadden trophy in 2002 for best college football player in South Carolina.

On a calm night, if the wind is just right, you can close your eyes and hear the panties dropping in Blacksburg.
Sam Rogers can smash a guitar like no other...
Does anyone else remember when they used to feature the musical talents of players at halftime during Monday Night Football? Would've been when Joey Harrington was still playing (he is an excellent pianist). I always enjoyed those.
All I can remember is them showing Matt Ryan playing acoustic guitar the year he stomped our hearts to dust. I've not been able to look at an acoustic guitar the same since.. until now. Byrnie stole my heart again.
Must be something in the water at BC, because Doug Flutie was also featured on one of the MNF segments. He plays the drums.
Clemson DE Vic Beasley was featured tickling the ivories in a spot during the FSU game.
